Is Deacon Sharpe Leaving The Bold and the Beautiful?
Deacon Sharpe’s life took a turn for the worst on the CBS soap this week. Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) issued a caveat to reunite with Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang). And what was his one condition?
It’s that Deacon can’t be anywhere on the Logan estate ever again. For months, Brooke’s been fighting to win her way back to Ridge. So, with a reunion on the horizon, she gave Deacon Sharpe his permanent walking papers.
And remember, he’s said over and over that his baby mama was the love of his life. Despite that, on Bold and the Beautiful, he was married to her daughter, Bridget Logan (Ashley Jones) when he got Brooke pregnant.
So, will Deacon leave B&B now that he’s barred from the woman he loves? And also, that means he can’t just drop in his daughter, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and his grandkids. So, what’s a reformed bad boy to do?
Sean Kanan’s Contract Status at B&B
Is Deacon leaving Bold and the Beautiful? It was 2016 since Sean Kanan was around for more than just a moment or two. The hunky bad boy’s always been a fan-favorite that’s welcome when he pops up on the sudser.
This time, though, Kanan landed a contract on B&B. He returned as Deacon Sharpe in October of 2021. Soap contracts are generally a minimum of one year and can be multi-year.
So, at a minimum, we’d expect to see Sean Kanan’s smiling face at least through October 2022. But hopefully, it’ll be longer. Despite Brooke casting him out of her life, there’s more story to tell on The Bold and the Beautiful.
And just because Ridge gets back with his Logan doesn’t mean that there’s no romantic avenues open for the former con man. Let’s take a look at what’s ahead for Deacon Sharpe.
What’s Next for Deacon on Bold and the Beautiful?
Rumor has it that Deacon gets into a surprising romance soon on B&B on CBS daytime. It’s clearly not with Hope’s mom. And it also seems unlikely to be with his ex-wife Bridget, although she’s recurring right now on the soap.
As for Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown), she’s been trying to get Deacon to hit the sheets with her for months. But given her murderous black-sheep status, he’d be a fool to take a tumble with she-devil Sheila.
Instead on Bold and the Beautiful, Deacon could get with someone who’s single, age-appropriate and needs comforting soon. Who could it be? One interesting option is Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen).
She’ll be hurt when her honey heads back to his wife. And someone needs to console her. And with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and all but one of her grandkids gone, Taylor will be at loose ends.
So, will Taylor and Deacon console each other over the “Bridge” reunion and let sparks fly? No matter what, the answer to the question “is Deacon Sharpe leaving B&B” seems to be no — not anytime soon. So don’t worry.
