General Hospital’s Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) is in harm’s way this week while on the plane to Aruba. And it makes GH fans wonder if this is the end of the fan-fave on the ABC daytime drama.
General Hospital: Carly Corinthos Loses Everything
Currently, on GH, Carly Corinthos is in a place of uncertainty for the first time in several years. Of course, losing Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) hit hard. But the loss of the Metro Court stings even more because she put so many years of hard work into it.
Plus, it’s a tribute to Carly’s late sister-in-law Courtney Matthews (Alicia Leigh Willis). So, of course, the hotel has special meaning on General Hospital. She’s been running the MC so long that Carly doesn’t know what to do now that it’s not hers anymore.
Now, Carly is trying to figure out what’s next for her. Besides her children, she lost everything that mattered to her. But, she won’t rest until she starts over and gets her life back on track.
Fresh Start Ahead on GH
General Hospital viewers know Carly is currently on a mission to rebuild her life. Carly Corinthos intends to get back everything she lost — and more. After a consult with executive coach Mia Lombardi (Vanessa Mathison), she decided to go on a corporate retreat to decide on a new career.
She may try to get the Metro Court back from Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), hint General Hospital spoilers. But, she might go another route and embark on something brand-new.
Furthermore, she seems ready to move forward with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison). Recent spoilers suggest that they may move past friendship. However, Carly’s trip may derail their romance.
Grave Danger Ahead on General Hospital
Currently, Carly’s aboard her plane to the island on GH, but her plans go awry. Last we saw, the flight got rocky, and she was tossed around. Soon, an emergency makes her plane land before it reaches the airport.
Later, she runs into the last person she wants to see. And General Hospital spoilers tease that Nelle Hayes (Chloe Lanier) might be haunting her. Also, she begins a new fight which could be a fight for her life. Perhaps, she is stranded and presumed dead.
So, Carly’s going to be presumed dead. She’s going to have amnesia for nine months, just to recover her memory, show up, and tell Sonny she did it better. #GH

And while she fights to stay alive, that’s when she may imagine Nelle. Of course, it’s unlikely that Sonny’s ex will die and leave General Hospital for good. However, she might take a break and be off the canvas for a while.
Spoilers say Drew may prove to be an ally during her tough time. So, if she turns up missing, Drew could very well start a search party and take off to find her.
