Gladys is a super-troublemaker and an extremely selfish character on General Hospital. She used the baby secret to blackmail Brook Lynn, who gave her a Deception credit card. Plus, she handed over her personal card when the other was revoked. Gladys Corbin will surely need more than just a credit card to keep this GH secret quiet.
Gladys definitely wants the finer things in life. And the Quartermaine Mansion is the finest thing in Port Charles. This trouble-maker might blackmail Brook Lynn Quartermaine into inviting her to live with the Q’s. But that would be a total disaster. General Hospital watchers know she’s pushy and rude, and the family is not going to put up with that.
Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) going at it with Gladys Corbin would be a sight to see. Fans should love to see her at the infamous pizza Thanksgiving on General Hospital. Plus, her moving in would put her closer to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) — which puts the secret at constant risk of exposure on General Hospital.
#2 Austin May Seduce the Schemer for Info on GH
Remember, Gladys Corbin was flirting with General Hospital’s newest addition, Dr. Austin Holt (Roger Howarth). And he’s angry with Brook Lynn because she almost cost him his medical license. BLQ started a war with Dr. Holt that she may regret. The hot doc vowed to get even, and that sketchy woman might be the way to get payback.
Gladys talks way too much, so she already let something slip while flirting with him at the Savoy bar. Now, he’s suddenly interested in what she may know about Brook Lynn Quartermaine. #3 Gladys Blabs to Valentin & Gets Boss Job Over Brook Lynn on General Hospital?
Maxie can’t conspire with Brook Lynn Quartermaine to keep this secret forever. Maxie wants to claim her daughter as her own. They hope that Peter will be caught soon and they can let the truth be known. Their wish is to find a way to tell Valentin themselves. But General Hospital does not usually work that way.
Gladys is the type who would blow a secret wide open just to be chaotic. Thus, she may take pleasure in telling Valentin the awful news so that she would benefit. Once Valentin knows Brook Lynn lied about the pregnancy and “their” baby, he’ll be hurt and angry. He redeemed himself lately, but Valentin can be ruthless.
