General Hospital Spoilers: Shawn Butler Gets Free and Back on His Feet
Currently, on GH, Judge Naomi Carson (Anita Finlay) is under investigation. So, that is the first step to Shawn Butler’s freedom. But then, official spoilers promise Shawn catches a break. So, it appears that he should be exonerated soon and ready to walk free.
No doubt, this has been a long time coming for the wrongly accused Shawn Butler on General Hospital. But, when Shawn is released into the free world, he must establish a life for himself. So, of course, he will need to get a job. Surely, Shawn has learned his lesson about the mob and won’t go back to that lifestyle.
Perhaps, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will offer Shawn Butler a job at his new nightclub, The Savoy. No doubt, Shawn gets along well with Curtis. Recently, they reunited for the first time in years, and there were good vibes there.
Plus, Curtis is like family because he’s TJ Ashford’s (Tajh Bellow) uncle. So, the Savoy seems like a good fit for Shawn Butler. Maybe, he could be security for Curtis or even a manager working beside his friend. Surely, there are plenty of possibilities for Shawn on General Hospital.
Another option might be Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) garage. After all, Brando is part of Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) family. But Brando is legit. He is not part of the mob. So, Shawn Butler may work for Brando and stay close to Sonny’s family – but away from the business. There’s a ton of options open to him as he starts a new life.
Family Time Long Overdue on GH
The best thing about Shawn Butler’s release from the slammer is that he gets to reconnect with his family on General Hospital. Most importantly, his son TJ. Now, Shawn will finally get to really know his son as a man.
And he will get to know Molly Lansing Davis (Haley Pullos) better also. Finally, after all these years behind bars, the ex-mob man can enjoy the family time he’s missed.
Of course, it won’t all be smooth sailing. Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) is also a part of TJ’s family. And TJ’s birth father is not her favorite person. General Hospital viewers know Stella loves to hold a grudge, especially when it involves her loved ones.

Stella already made it clear to Jordan Ashford (Briana Henry) that she’s not happy about TJ visiting Shawn. So, Stella surely will not be thrilled if he’s set free and gets closer to TJ. However, that is a small price to pay for his freedom.
So, he likely will not let Stella get to him. He will finally have a genuine relationship with his son, and that is all that matters to Shawn Butler, promise General Hospital spoilers.
Shawn Needs Romance on General Hospital – Jordan, Alexis, or Someone Else?
Of course, Shawn Butler needs a little romance on GH. One thought is Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn). Recall, they sizzled in the past. Plus, he has been Alexis’ rock in Pentonville. And she is going above and beyond to clear her ex’s name. So, their reunion in prison may be the beginning of a fresh start for them on General Hospital.

However, even if Shawn Butler goes free, Alexis must finish out her sentence. Unless, of course, there’s some miracle. So, he may find himself reconnecting with Jordan instead. Also remember that Shawn has a long history with Jordan.
Plus, they are TJ’s parents. Not to mention, Jordan is about to be single since her divorce will be final soon. So, it would make perfect sense for him to give romance another shot with Jordan, predict General Hospital spoilers. There’s also Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) who’s single – and many other ladies in Port Charles might want to romance the hunky ex-con.
GH Spoilers: Does Nikolas Still Pose a Threat?
General Hospital spoilers confirm that the walls close in on Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) soon. Nik gets news about Shawn Butler and realizes his secret may be at risk. So, the former hit man might get closer to learning that Nikolas was the one that put the hit on Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig).
That means Shawn may know Nik’s the one responsible for him losing years of his life behind bars. But Nikolas is determined that his scapegoat will never uncover the truth. And General Hospital viewers know Nik is ruthless and will protect himself by any means necessary. While Shawn could have a bright future ahead of him soon – the Cassadine Prince might still prove to be a problem.
So, there will be no shortage of drama. And Shawn might not stop until he finds out who went after Hayden. And if he discovers it’s Nik, he may pursue vengeance on the prince.
