‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Lucy & Martin Spark – Will it Last Past New Year?
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) and Martin Gray (Michael E Knight) are the ABC soap’s new fun couple. The twosome already makes a great team and fans are loving them. But is this just a holiday fling or can these two wacky kids make love last?
General Hospital: Lucy Coe Hooks up with Martin Gray
GH gave fans a wonderful Christmas present. Frisky Lucy Coe jumped on what she thought was her ex-husband Kevin Collins’ (Jon Lindstrom) lap. Much to her surprise, this Santa was not Kevin, but attorney, Martin Gray. Neither of them appeared upset by the circumstances.
Lucy hooked up with Martin for a little ho ho ho action on General Hospital. Many viewers hope this couple goes long-term. There has been much sadness and drama in Port Charles recently. So, watching Martin play naughty Santa with Lucy is much-needed comic relief and joy.

The two are already having fun sneaking around and hiding from Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). Valentin threatened to fire Martin as his attorney if he continues seeing Ms. Coe. In typical Lucy fashion, she snuck out of the Savoy in disguise when they spotted Val.
Lucy Coe – A Legacy on General Hospital
It is about time for Lucy Coe to have a love interest on GH. She’s been single since her divorce from Dr. Collins. Lucy came to General Hospital in 1986. She appeared as a mousy librarian who turned into a liar and a schemer. But she finally redeemed herself.
Her two great loves were Kevin Collins and Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner). But they are both now happy with other people. She is also the co-owner of Deception. And she’s the founder and host of the Nurses Ball, a fundraiser for HIV and AIDS Awareness and Research. Martin might be her best match yet.

But Lucy’s recent love life has been uneventful, until now. Martin Gray is fairly new to General Hospital but has not dated since his arrival. Now that Lucy fell into his lap, things will heat up them. Remember, Martin Gray flirted with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) for just a second. He seems much more into Lucy Coe, though.
Can Martin & the Realtor Be the New Scott & Liesl on GH?
General Hospital fans love Scott with Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati). They are fun and a joy to watch. Unfortunately, Soap Dirt recently reported that Kin Shriner announced his departure from GH. Whether his absence is temporary is unclear, but viewers will miss his love antics with Liesl.
So, Lucy Coe paired with Martin Gray may be the perfect antidote to losing Scotty and Dr. O. They are silly and cute but could also have a great love story. These two characters may be a perfect match. Hopefully, Martin can get past the Valentin roadblock.
Perhaps Martin can be Lucy’s date for the next Nurses Ball. At least if Lucy Coe’s clothes come off at the event, Martin Gray could be there to enjoy it. Keep an eye on General Hospital to see this relationship unfold.
