‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Gia Campbell Back for Niece Trina Robinson?
General Hospital spoilers wonder if Gia Campbell (Marisa Ramirez) could return for Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), her niece, in her hour of need. It’s been a minute since Gia’s been in Port Charles, but her niece is in crisis on the ABC soap.
Who Is Gia Campbell on General Hospital?
Gia Campbell is Marcus Taggert’s (Real Andrews) little sister. She was part of the “teen scene” on General Hospital in the early 2000s.
This group included Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst), Lucky Spencer (Jacob Young), Emily Quartermaine (Natalia Livingston), and Nikolas Cassadine (then-Tyler Christopher). She was also the Face of Deception.

At one point, Gia was in love with Nikolas and the two were engaged. There was also a lot of love drama between Gia, Nikolas, Emily, and Zander Smith (Chad Brannon).
Gia eventually lost interest in modeling and became interested in the law. She worked for Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) as a legal assistant. When we last saw her. she left Port Chuck to attend law school.
On General Hospital, Trina mentioned Gia when she thought Taggert was dead. She said she visited his grave with her mom and Aunt Gia.
More recently, Taggert and his ex-wife, Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr) talked about Gia and Nikolas’ relationship. She’s on Taggert’s mind now that Trina’s friends with his son, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez).
GH Spoilers: Trina Robinson Can Use Help Right Now
Trina Robinson needs her family and friends around her right now. Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) framed her for taping Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton), then posting the video.
Trina would never do something like that but she has been arrested. If the evidence is damning enough, some on General Hospital may lose faith in the young art student.
Hopefully, Joss and Cam will see through what the evil Esme did and know that their bestie would never hurt them. But now, things look bad for Gia’s niece.

The two people who will always believe Trina are her parents, Taggert and Portia. They will stand by their daughter and know she is innocent. Portia already knew that Esme was trouble for her daughter.
She didn’t trust Spencer much either. She told Trina to stay away from the two of them because she was afraid something like this might happen. Mothers know best.
Trina listened to her mom and broke away from Spencer but it was too late. Esme already set her evil General Hospital plan in motion. So, perhaps Taggert phones Gia Campbell for an assist.
Can Gia Save the Day?
There are many lawyers in town who would be happy to take Trina Robinson’s case. Alexis would be a perfect choice. But sadly, she no longer has her law license.
Ava Jerome (Maura West) will surely ask Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) to help, but Scott can be a loose cannon. Aunt Gia may want to come back to Port Charles to represent her niece.
A grown-up Gia Campbell may be wonderful in the courtroom on General Hospital. And Gia could stir up some trouble between Ava Jerome and Nikolas Cassadine.
Right now, her portrayer, Marisa Ramirez, is busy shooting Blue Bloods, a CBS police drama. But she might take a moment for a cameo back at her old soap stomping grounds.
It may be the perfect time to bring her back to GH. Port Charles could use a new attorney and Trina Robinson could use her aunt’s help. And if Ramirez is too busy, they could recast Gia Campbell. Wait and see.
