‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Anna Pushes Valentin Away – Can ‘Vanna’ Survive?
General Hospital’s Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and British super-spy Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) are finally getting somewhere in their romance.
However, “Vanna” might soon be over before they start on GH. Val’s secrecy becomes too much for the WSB agent. And soon, she takes a step back on the ABC sudser.
General Hospital Spoilers: Anna Devane & Valentin Cassadine Head over Heels
GH fan-fave Anna Devane and loveable baddie Valentin Cassadine are finally heating up. Valentin is crazy about Anna, and she’s just as crazy about him. But, of course, she is cautious because Val was a ruthless villain for a long time.
But Anna Devane was starting to feel better about her growing romance with Valentin after their first date. And it seemed like “Vanna” might finally make progress. The sparks flew at the drive-in movie where Val took his lady love.
And fans were hopeful that “Vanna” would rise at last. However, they just hit another roadblock because the super-spy recently discovered that Valentin is lying to her on General Hospital.
Anna over the Lies on GH
General Hospital spoilers promise Anna will give Valentin a shock soon. Now, she knows Val was not in the clinic healing for as long as he said. In fact, Val left against the doctor’s orders. So, he flat-out lied to her about his location when he was out of town.
GH fans know Valentin Cassadine was in French Polynesia instead of at the medical facility. Instead, he was busy framing Jennifer Smith (Holly Gagnier) for stealing the Ice Princess diamond.
Of course, his evil father, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy), put him up to it. Vic needed to take the heat off himself and let someone else take the fall for swiping the iconic diamond.
And it’s working — for now. But official General Hospital spoilers confirm that Val must make a choice. Soon, he makes a grand gesture to Anna Devane — but she shuts him down.
The legendary super-spy tells Valentin she cannot handle his dishonesty any longer. So, Val must either fess up to the love of his life or lose her for good.
Vanna over before They Start on General Hospital?
GH spoilers see Val in a terrible spot soon. Next week, he faces losing Anna when she walks away because of his deceit. Of course, Val is only following Victor’s commands because he’s holding Charlotte Cassadine (Amelie McClain) over Val’s head.
Vic put Charlotte in a boarding school and is using her as leverage against Val. However, Val’s growing tired of Vic’s demands. He couldn’t follow through with drugging Laura Spencer (Genie Francis). Plus, he threatened to kill Vic if he harmed Charlotte in any way.

So, Val may turn on his dad soon, especially if he runs the risk of losing his “darling.” If Valentin just comes clean to Anna, he might be able to stop her from walking away from him. Indeed, if he just tells her how Victor is forcing him to do his bidding, she will surely understand.
Furthermore, she will be thrilled if he is honest with her, General Hospital spoilers. And there may be hope for them after all if Valentin Cassadine brings Anna into the loop. Then, perhaps, they can take Vic down together.
