‘General Hospital’: Slow Moving Brook Lynn Quartermaine & Harrison Chase Frustrates Fans
General Hospital fans are growing weary of the slow-moving love story between Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard). This couple has been starting and stopping for so long and many fans would like to see them move forward already.
General Hospital: Brook Lynn Quartermaine and Chase Should Be an Epic Love Story
Brook Lynn Quartermaine and Chase started out intensely disliking each other. She had a habit of getting herself in trouble and he would arrest her.
But somehow, they formed an unlikely friendship and Harrison Chase even gave Brook Lynn a place to stay when she fought with her father and left the Q mansion. It did not seem like romance was in the cards because he was in love with Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).
Things sometimes change quickly on General Hospital, and soon Willow was in love with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), and Chase was heartbroken. Brook Lynn was there for her friend and their bond strengthened.
Things really took a turn when BLQ was pretending Bailey Louise Jones was her daughter. The good detective stepped up when his friend needed him most. He pretended that he was Bailey’s dad to keep the secret going and protect Maxie’s baby.

While the two were playing mommy and daddy, there was a definite romantic spark between them. Perfect time for new love, but it didn’t happen.
When Brook Lynn gave the baby back to her real mama, it finally looked like the couple would fall for each other, but they did not. By now, BLQ and Harrison Chase should be madly in love, but they are still right back where they started.
A Series of Missed Opportunities for Harrison Chase and Brook Lynn on GH
General Hospital fans want to see this couple together, and they have been waiting a long time. Brook Lynn has never had a great love story and it’s time she got one. As for the handsome detective, his poor heart was broken by Willow and Michael, and he deserves a love of his own.
What are the GH writers waiting for? Instead of love in the afternoon, fans are getting silly arguments and misunderstandings. BLQ is making blunder after blunder, while Chase keeps getting himself suspended.

Now, Harrison Chase may become a singer, with Brook Lynn Quartermaine as his manager. Could this be the way to finally couple them up? Fans certainly hope so. On the other hand, working together may just pull them apart.

Some General Hospital stories heat up quickly, while others take a much longer time to get going.Β Some fans are also frustrated with Elizabeth Webber’s (Rebecca Herbst) situation. Poor Liz lost her mind a little and we haven’t found out why.
Yes, she lost her beloved husband, Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth), but that doesn’t appear to be the only reason. GH has been hinting for some time that there is a dark history with her parents, but nothing has been revealed. Fans are wondering if her mom and dad are coming to Port Charles.
Then there is Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). This fan favorite couple hasn’t really even started. Mr. Cassadine is up to something, but it is unlike Agent Devane to not try to figure it out. Will they ever really fall in love?
