‘General Hospital’: Olivia Jerome Austin’s Boss? New Clues Surface
General Hospital, mob princess Olivia Jerome might be the boss lady Austin Holt is trying to break away from. And he may soon discover her ties to Port Charles on the ABC sudser.
General Hospital: Austin Holt in Trouble
Currently, on GH, Austin Holt (Roger Howarth) can’t seem to escape his family in Pautuck. His shady cousin Mason (Nathanyael Grey) keeps popping up with orders for Austin from “The Boss.”
Now it’s clear that whoever the lady boss is, she needs a doctor on hand — someone who can treat injuries without getting the cops involved. No doubt, it sounds like mob activity.
Of course, Austin Holt wants no part of the family business, recall General Hospital recaps. But Mason keeps threatening him. First, with Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) safety. Then, the safety of Maxie’s children.
Even though they’re no longer together, Mason knows Austin deeply cares for her. Recently, Ava Jerome (Maura West) walked in on their scuffle — and it’s not the first time. She also caught Mason threatening Austin Holt the night she was attacked at the Q picnic.
Indeed, Ava has a bad feeling about Mason. She found some common ground with Austin recently. And it turns out they both know what it’s like to deal with shady family drama.
Ava brought up her mob family and how she wanted all the power — at first. Then she got out. And that may be a big clue as to who the mystery boss is on General Hospital.
Olivia Jerome Pulling the Strings on GH?
There is a good chance that “The Boss” Mason keeps referring to is none other than mafia heiress Olivia Jerome (Tonja Walker). They never use her real name. So, perhaps they don’t know it.
If Austin knew her last name was Jerome, he might suspect she was related to Ava. And he would see that it’s the Jerome mob family he and Mason are tied up with. Olivia is no one to mess with, and Ava knows that better than anyone, recall General Hospital recaps.
She has no problem killing people if they cross her — even her family. And she may still pose a big threat. Austin mentioned recently that it’s his mother’s side, the Gatlin’s, that bring the trouble.
But, his father, Jimmy Lee Holt (Steve Bond), got into his own share of trouble before Austin was born. Jimmy Lee was always scheming against the Q family on General Hospital. At one point, he even teamed up with Heather Webber (then Robin Mattson).
And she’s as crazy as they come. So it’s not a stretch to think that he was mixed up with Olivia Jerome back in the day. And that might be where her involvement with the Gatlin-Holt family started.
Olivia Wreaks Havoc on General Hospital?
Legacy baddie Olivia Jerome may soon resurface on GH. Olivia is still behind bars for the murder of Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig) — among other things. First, she was in D’Archam prison for the criminally insane. But now Olivia is in Pentonville.
Recently, supervillain Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) named dropped Olivia Jerome. When Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) was on her way to Pentonville, Cyrus warned that Olivia would go after her. So, Olivia is close and dangerous as ever on General Hospital.

Also, she could easily be pulling the strings from within prison. Recall Cyrus did it for years. That may be why Liv needs Mason and his doctor cousin. She needs people under her thumb on the outside.
But Austin is prepared to stand up to her. He wants to live his life how he sees fit — not under her orders. Of course, that puts him in danger. And if Olivia finds out he’s friends with her sister Ava, then she could also be in danger.
No doubt Liv can cause a lot of trouble from behind prison bars. Then both Austin and his pal Ava may have a fight on their hands. And they may need to join forces. So, get ready for another twist on GH. Olivia Jerome could soon flip Austin Holt’s world upside down on the ABC soap.
