‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Who Will The Next Brady Matriarch?
Days of Our Lives spoilers confirm Brady Family matriarch Caroline Brady (Peggy McCay) has passed away – but can anyone fill her shoes as the matriarch of the Brady clan? Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) and Kimberly Brady (Patsy Pease) are ones to watch. Recently, Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) got a sad phone call from his sister that their Ma died peacefully in her sleep. Caroline was the glue that held her family together. So, her death leaves a void in the hearts of all who loved her.
Friends and family gathered at the Brady Pub to say goodbye and this special episode served as a farewell to both Caroline Brady as well as portrayer Peggy McCay. Now that the Brady family foremost female passed, who will take on the role of Brady matriarch? There are a few women that could step up. Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Kimberly Brady Next In Line
DOOL spoilers remind Caroline Brady spent the last few years of her life living with her oldest daughter Kim in sunny California. Hopefully, in that time Caroline shared family stories and traditions with her eldest daughter. Kimberly would be the most obvious candidate to step into her mother’s role as matriarch on Days of Our Lives.
However, since Kimberly Brady lives clear across the country she is not able to be a significant presence in the lives of the Bradys. Since Salem is the home base for the clan, being bi-coastal is not ideal. The family needs a Salem based woman to hold down the fort with the many Bradys. So, sadly that likely eliminates Kimberly since she wasn’t even spotted at her mom’s poignant memorial.

DOOL Spoilers: Kayla Brady A Better Fit As Next Matriarch?
Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest Kayla Brady could be the ideal choice to guide the family forward. Although she is the younger of Caroline’s two daughters, she is in a good position to take on the task as the family’s female role model, sounding board, and confidante. The fact she is living in Salem only adds to the many reasons why she may easily fill the shoes of her beloved mother. Kayla Brady already showed herself capable to lead the Bradys.
Days of Our Lives spoilers remind it was Kayla who took it upon herself to make sure Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) was aware of her mom’s passing. Additionally, she organized the Irish Memorial to celebrate their mother’s life. Kayla proves herself loyal and dedicated to her family. She is always there for her siblings, nieces and nephews and other relatives. She is kind, compassionate and stern – when warranted. Frankly, she embodies her mother’s spirit the most of all her siblings. Easily the others will look to Kayla for leadership now that Caroline has passed.
A Brady Family Tradition Returns This Summer
As the Brady Family continues to mourn and move on with their lives, a time-honored tradition will make its return this summer. Days of Our Lives spoilers say The Brady-Horton BBQ is back on for the first time in years. With all the sadness of Caroline’s death, its time to gather the family for something more joyous.
So, newlyweds Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) decide to spearhead this year’s festivities. The Bradys and Hortons certainly do have a few reasons to celebrate. There’s Will Horton’s (Chandler Massey) miracle cure and Sarah and Rex’s wedding. Watch DOOL this summer to see the return of the Brady-Horton BBQ and which Brady lady ultimately takes on the role of matriarch.
