DOOL spoilers indicate that Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) and Everett Lynch (Blake Berris) find out a shocker. Recent episodes show Everett landing a job at The Spectator. Further, he hired his ex-girlfriend for PR. As editor-in-chief, he needed to turn the paper’s reputation around after gossip columnist Lady Whistleblower, aka Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart), landed in hot water with his boyfriend, Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte).
However, not everyone was happy about the article on Leo. Plus, the fact that Everett and Stephanie worked side by side got under Chad DiMera‘s (Billy Flynn) skin. After all, he thinks the newcomer is after his woman on Days of our Lives. To be fair, Everett did come on to Stephanie when he first arrived in Salem.
Further, the two have unfinished business after he mysteriously vanished when they both lived in Seattle. So Chad asked Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) to buy half of the publication. But the new dad said no. Then, the jealous man called Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien). DOOL recaps show Gwen agreeing to sell the paper to Chad as part of his children’s legacy.
Then, Everett learned that he was fired. This week on Days of our Lives, he and Stephanie may discover that Chad owns half of the newspaper and wants him gone. This might not come as a huge surprise to the journalist. After all, he knows Chad can’t stand him.
