‘Days of our Lives’ Spoilers: Psychotic TR Coates Wants Eli Grant Dead
Days of our Lives spoilers confirm TR Coates (William Christian) isn’t reformed at all and tries to murder his son-in-law Eli Grant (Lamon Archey). Will the beloved cop lose his life after a vicious crime’s committed against him on the NBC soap?
TR Coates Swears He’s a Changed Man on Days of our Lives
Recall, Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) hid Lani Price (Sal Stowers) from her biological father her whole life. And when cornered, she confessed it’s because TR Coates was a scary violent dude.
But since the film producer’s been in Salem, he’s been nothing but charming. However, the ugly truth is about to come out in the worst possible way. When TR sent flowers to Paulina, it was part of a campaign of lies.
He also implied, on Days of our Lives, that Paulina cheated he and Lani out of years as father and daughter. He seems sincere enough, but Lani knows Auntie P wouldn’t give her up for no reason.
It all explodes in coming episodes on DOOL. And in the end, Eli Grant’s left fighting for his life at Salem University Hospital. So, what’s the catalyst that triggers TR to shed his good-guy disguise?
Domestic Violence, Drugs, and Danger Could Cost Eli Grant His Life
In a juicy DOOL promo, we got a glimpse of TR Coates’ ex dropping into the cop shop to spill some tea on her ex. Beth (Donielle Artise) comes to the cop shop and chats with Detective Eli Grant.
She’s an actress who worked with the producer and reveals TR abused her. She shows up on Monday, March 14. After their chat, Eli goes to round up TR Coates. But what Eli sees is also troubling on Days of our Lives.
Not only is TR a rotten boyfriend, but he’s also into drugs. So, Eli spots him right after he’s bought heroin. The SPD cop grills him about the violence accusations. Then, he sees the drugs TR dropped.
Next, Eli Grant decides it’s time to arrest TR Coates, but the villain won’t go down quietly. A struggle over the detective’s gun results in Eli being shot. And there’s no way he wants to go to prison for shooting a cop.
TR Sets up Another Culprit and Fakes Concern on Days of our Lives
TR can’t unshoot Eli, so he needs a solution fast. Thankfully, he was just with a heroin dealer who’s also a scumbag. So, the producer sets up the dealer to go down for the crime and takes off, hoping that Eli doesn’t survive to rat him out.

But the gunshots draw other cops and Lani and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) stumble on Eli bleeding out on Days of our Lives. Spoilers suggest this is very much life-and-death drama. The dealer’s dead and Eli might be soon.
Meanwhile, as the family gathers at the hospital, TR shows up and fakes concern. He puts on a good show for Lani and Paulina, but he’s not praying for the same outcome as them. Eli Grant’s death is the best thing for TR Coates.
