DOOL spoilers report that Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) confides in her ex-mother-in-law, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). She’s been through the wringer ever since she lost her infant son last November. Not only that, but her daughter Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) almost died when she overdosed on New Year’s Eve.
The hot-mess mom was overwhelmed when she learned that Holly took the pills on her own but lied about it because she didn’t want to disappoint her on Days of our Lives. Further, Tate Black (Leo Howard) spent time incarcerated for Holly’s OD, thanks to EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel). But the teens’ parents now forbid each other from seeing each other outside of classes at Salem High.
Needless to say, Marlena Evans loves her grandson and Nicole’s daughter. After all, her son Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) raised her for a while. DOOL spoilers question if Marlena will encourage her former DIL to take a second look at keeping the teenagers apart. Little do they know, the teens are head over heels for each other and sneaking around together with help from burner phones.

Of course, Nicole Walker and Marlena Evans’ conversation will also revolve around EJ DiMera and Eric Brady. Days of our Lives recaps show Marlena learning that her son still has feelings for his ex-wife and remains close to her and her daughter. And now, the two are working side-by-side at The Spectator.

Marlena may wonder if being workmates is a wise idea. In fact, Eric and his ex have worked together in the past, and each time, the two formed a relationship or had a fling. Plus, the DOOL psychiatrist could tell the reporter to be cautious about her husband EJ’s feelings. He may be very uncomfortable about his wife spending so much time with his rival even though he’s excited about her new job.
Plus, Marlena knows how she feels about her son as well. Not too long ago, on Days of our Lives, the woman discussed the loss of her son. Marlena learned that Nicole would be with Eric Brady if the baby would have been his. However, neither knows the truth. Eric’s wife, Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty), stole the baby boy in a farce adoption scheme and messed with the DNA testing. Days of Lives Spoilers: Will Writers Kill Off Nicole Walker?
Recently, actress Arianne Zucker took to social media to announce that her last day on DOOL will most likely be July 29, 2024.
She told the press last year that she was suing the show’s producers for sexual harassment and was let go from the soap when she spoke out against the abuse she and other female costars and crew faced day to day. With the lawsuit looming, the actress won’t be rehired.
Further, viewers have speculated for months what will happen to the longtime character. After all, Nicole Walker has been a Days of our Lives staple for over two decades. Everyone wants her to get her baby back. Many fans would love to see her ride off into the sunset with her first, true love, Eric Brady.
However, unless the character is recast, writers need a good way to write her off DOOL. Will they decide to kill her off, letting EJ raise Eric’s son? This is a scenario to consider. The drama could unfold if and when Eric learns that Jude is his biological son. We only have a few months more to see how Nicole leaves Salem, with or without her baby and Eric, or in a fancy coffin with a headstone in the local cemetery.
