Both are the daughters of the late nefarious villain, Stefano DiMera (Joseph Macsolo). Kristen may be adopted, but she certainly takes after her adoptive father.
Megan and her sister have also used Dr. Rolf’s (Richard Wharton) extraordinary medical expertise to secure the man of their dreams. However, both sisters failed to keep them around on Days of our Lives.
Further, Kristen and Megan serve lengthy prison sentences for crimes committed, trying to keep a stranglehold on Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Bo Brady (Peter Reckell). DOOL viewers know their obsessive feelings for these men who loathe the DiMera divas lead to nothing but trouble.
Recent Days of our Lives episodes show Kristen DiMera and Megan Hathaway meeting and discussing breaking out of prison. A crooked governor once pardoned Ms. DiMera and set her free from Statesville.
But that probably won’t happen again on the beloved soap. However, Megan claimed she could get them both out of jail. Yet, she has not disclosed her plans. That may be about to change.

Escaping DOOL’s prison could have serious consequences for both women. In fact, Kristen could still be estranged from her daughter, Rachel Black (Finely Rose Slater). Brady Black keeps her from their love child because of her bad influence. But the diva is no stranger to kidnapping.
She may take her daughter and run. While she loves her ex, she loves her child more. And if they can’t have a life together, she still wants one with their child. However, without getting out of jail, she can’t do that. Plus, if she escaped, the single mother would have to kidnap Rachel and go into hiding.
