‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Hope Serves Rafe With Divorce Papers – ROPE Done
Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) files for divorce from Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering). The top cop and her detective hubby have had a tumultuous few months in their marriage. Working together with sleazy DA Ted Laurent (Gilles Marini) sniffing around Hope Brady has been stressful.
Add in that Rafe Hernandez is playing dad to baby David Ridgeway (Ellis twins) and it has caused even more strain between these two. Now, Rafe Hernandez blatantly disobeys Hope’s direct orders during the search for missing Holly Jonas (Harlow and Scarlett Mallory). The result is tragic not only for Holly’s family but also for Hope and Rafe’s marriage on the NBC soap.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Hope Brady and Rafe Hernandez’s Marriage Implodes
Hope and Rafe’s relationship has been rocky long before the search for Holly Jonas. However, it is during this investigation that their marriage finally implodes. Rafe is not in charge when they are working and must follow the Commissioner’s directives. DOOL spoilers show Detective Hernandez goes rogue and as a result, plays a role in the tragic end to Holly’s kidnapping.
He took a huge risk trusting his gut instinct and disobeyed his superior’s instructions. Rafe’s defiance triggers a chain of events including a crash and the presumed death of young Holly Jonas. To say that Hope Brady is angry is an understatement. The couple exchanges verbal blows. They say things that they cannot take back. Days of Our Lives spoilers tell us Rafe Hernandez takes off his wedding ring and throw it over a cliff. So, Holly’s “death” is also be the death of ROPE.

DOOL Spoilers: Hope Brady Lawyers Up
Days of Our Lives spoilers show Hope Brady no longer wants to be married to Rafe Hernandez. Their marriage has too many outside influences and internal strife that it is beyond repair. Sadly, Hope decides to lawyer up and file for divorce. She contacts her daughter-in-law, Belle Black (Martha Madison) to start the process.
This is not the first time Hope Brady took steps to dissolve her marriage. DOOL spoilers remind she served Rafe with annulment papers not long after their March 2018 nuptials. However, the couple realized they loved each other enough to put the work into the marriage. However, this time love isn’t enough to pull them through the hits to their relationship.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Ted Laurent and Lani Price Swoop In
Hope Brady and Rafe Hernandez have been living apart for weeks, say DOOL spoilers. However, neither one of them really has been lonely. Lani Price (Sal Stowers) and Ted Laurent swooped in to fill the void. They both began as friends there to listen to the relationship woes and offer support. Lani fell in love with the child in Rafe’s care. So, her feelings for Rafe are purely platonic at this point. Still, her constant presence has created as many problems as it solved.
However, Days of Our Lives spoilers know Ted’s intentions are deceptive. He is in love with Hope and makes no secret that he wants her to leave Rafe. Certainly, Hope has some feelings for the DA. Because she has not really thwarted his advances. It definitely appears she likes the attention and is not discouraging him as she should. Now, with Hope Brady serving Rafe Hernandez divorce papers, it remains to be seen if she gives in to her feelings for Ted Laurent on the NBC sudser.
