‘Days of our Lives’ Recap 9/12/2022: Stefan Rejection Stuns Gabi – First Peacock Episode
This Days of our Lives recap has Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) stunned to see Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) alive and even more shocked to find out he doesn’t want her. Plus, two get kicked out of the DiMera mansion and there are power plays all over Salem.
Days of our Lives Recap: Season 57 Episode 239 – First Peacock Episode – Alex vs Stephanie
As DOOL starts on Peacock, Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) are happy that Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker) is doing better and stock prices are up. He wants to celebrate with her but she tells him to stick to business.
He says he wasn’t asking her to get in bed with him and she tells him to read up on sexual harassment. On Days of our Lives, he insists he’s never felt this way before. But Stephanie tells Alex it’s not mutual and he needs to stop. So, he immediately backs down.
DOOL Recap: Li Shin vs EJ DiMera – Nasty Barbs Tossed
Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) shows up to see EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) and reminds him he was closer to Jake than his family was. Elvis Junior pushes him and says Gabi Herandnez is still smitten with Stefan DiMera. Then, Li loses it on EJ when he says it won’t last.
EJ mocks him and calls Li defensive and says it’s clear he has doubts about Gabi Hernandez. He mocks him for letting Gabi hire Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) and says again he knows she never married Jake. Li says he, Gabi, and Johnny all support Ava.
On Days of our Lives, EJ says it’s just hormones with his son. Then, his rival says he underestimates the young man. Gabi’s new fiance exits with a wicked smirk. Things explode at the mansion soon on the Peacock soap.
Days Recap: EJ Catches Johnny in Bed with Ava & Tosses Them Out
Ava asks Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) why he’s being so nice to her. They start kissing and tumble into bed. But they stop before they do the deed. She’s a new widow and old enough to be his mom. He apologizes for being insensitive but insists he’s into her.
Ava’s scared that she’s losing it but Johnny suggests EJ’s gaslighting her to make her see things. Then, EJ walks into Ava’s bedroom and assumes they shagged. He tells her to get out of his house and calls her a scheming slut using his son to get to him.
He says she bedded his son for revenge and Johnny says he’ll go too if his dad kicks her out on Days of our Lives. EJ calls it a win-win and says good riddance. They make plans to get a room together at the Salem Inn but continue as friends only.
Downstairs, Johnny tells his dad that he and Ava are moving to the Inn. They let him think they had sex. EJ calls her a cougar and she growls and shows her claws. He’s furiously gulping alcohol as they leave.
Stefan DiMera Rejects Gabi Hernandez – Days of our Lives Monday, September 12, 2022 Recap
In the crypt, the Days of our Lives recap has Gabi Hernandez mourning Stefan DiMera. Then Stefan walks in but she thinks he’s Jake. He clears it up and shows her the heart surgery scar. She realizes it was Stefan that Ava saw, not Jake.
Gabi kisses him but Stefan freaks. She says she’s his wife but Stefan says he doesn’t love her and can’t stand the sight of her. Then, Li shows up, acts surprised, and calls him Jake even though he knows it’s Stefan. He acts surprised when Gabi reveals it’s Stefan.
He lifts her hand to show off her ring – and tells Stefan they’re getting married. Then, Stefan DiMera flips when Gabi tries to get him to go to the hospital on Days of our Lives.
Stefan goes off on her, then walks out. Gabi Hernandez’s fiance says she must be in pain. She cries as he promises to make it okay. As Li takes her in his arms, she stares at her engagement ring with doubt on DOOL.
Sweet Bits Girls Overwhelmed by Cookie Crisis – DOOL New Episode
The Sweet Bits girls drop off almost 1,000 “vote for Abe Carver” (James Reynolds) cookies and are stunned to hear it’s Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) running for the office, not him. The girls are thrilled and Paulina orders 10,000 cookies with her name on them.
Later, in the square on Days of our Lives, Alex shows up and tells them he needs help to get over Stephanie since she crushed his hopes. Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) advises him to go hook up with someone for fun. He asks for it to be them and gets a hard no.
Later, they see Johnny heading to the Inn with Ava and are stunned. Meanwhile, Stephanie meets with Paulina to talk campaign. She hears their love story and is surprised they didn’t click when they first met. Paulina says you don’t always know what you want.
Stephanie seems to consider that later at the bar. Alex shows up and she asks him to sit and join her. Looks like he’ll get a second chance and a kiss, but there’s another guy after her soon on DOOL.
