Last week on DOOL, before Ava Vitali heard about her son’s shooting, she got closer to Rafe Hernandez over breakfast. Knowing that Rafe letting her stay there has Ava self-conscious. So, the mob-chick dished him up a traditional Italian egg dish and he loved it.

Then, Days of our Lives fans saw Ava Vitali open up about her sons. Rafe Hernandez listened with compassion. There also might have been a spark of interest there for Ava when Rafe heard her out without judgment. No doubt, Ava’s alone in Salem with few friends aside from Nicole Walker.

DOOL Leak: Nicole Walker Hungry for Romance With Hubby Gone

Days of our Lives spoilers know Nicole Walker’s heartbroken about her husband’s prolonged absence. With Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) soon out of the picture permanently, Nicole’s going to move on at some point. Unless there’s a recast, Nicole definitely needs a man. And Rafe’s right there.

So, a Days of our Lives leaker hinted that Rafe Hernandez would romance Nicole Walker. They’ve got a lot in common. Not only is Nicole’s hubby far from home, but the hunky police chief’s missing his soulmate Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso). And she’s not coming back either.

Already, Rafe had a sort-of romantic dinner with Nicole Walker on his birthday on Days of our Lives. Now, Nicole’s hanging out with him but it’s platonic. However, there’s a hint that she gets word soon that Eric decides to stay permanently in Africa. If so, that opens up Nicole to a new love.
