‘Days of Our Lives’: Eric and EJ’s Returns Trigger Splits – Couples Swap Ahead?

Days of Our Lives comings and goings report Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) come back to Salem and their returns might trigger a domino effect of breakups and couples swaps. While EJ is back to win Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) heart back, she has been in bed with her ex. Similarly, Eric makes his journey home from Africa only to find his wife Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) hides something. Are breakups and recoupling ahead on the NBC soap?

EJ DiMera Makes Amends on Days of Our Lives

Spoilers see EJ DiMera arrive in Salem this week to make up with Sami. She came to town without him to help her daughter Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold). In a moment of despair, Sami confided in Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) that her marriage to EJ DiMera hit a crossroads.

Further, Sami laments she feels undesirable to her husband. Lucas and Sami kissed and ended up making love, only to get caught by Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) in the walk of shame the next day.

Then, this sets off a chain of events on DOOL, ending in the exes kidnapped and trapped in the DiMera wine cellar. There, they couldn’t keep their hands off each other. After their release, Sami scrambled to keep their tryst a secret.

Now, Sami’s determined that EJ DiMera must not find out about her recent fling with Lucas. When EJ shocks Sami with his homecoming, he promises to make things right between them. EJ knows Sami did her best by him and wants a second chance. Sami believes EJ is sincere on Days of our Lives.

DOOL Spoilers: Lucas Won’t Back Down – Sami Caught in the Middle – Split Ahead?

Spoilers reveal Lucas Horton is determined to win Sami back for good. After all, he claims they are magic together. Plus, there is nothing like that first love. Lucas and Sami have lit up the screen since the two were in high school on Days of Our Lives.

“Lumi” take delight in their return to each other. In addition, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) is on to Sami’s shenanigans. She knows her daughter well. It is obvious to her there is something more than friendship between her and her ex, as DOOL spoilers divulge.

Will Marlena confront Sami about what she sees? Days of our Lives’ Doc only wants the best for her. Plus, Sami may need someone to confide in that will help her sort out her feelings. Until that time, the soap scoop says Sami’s determined to keep her secret from EJ DiMera.

But this juicy love triangle might turn to a split. Surely, EJ figures this out. And his sister may have mentioned the tryst to him. EJ could use this info to his advantage. This affair could very well end Sami and EJ DiMera’s marriage. Of course, Lucas will be there to pick up the pieces.

Comings and Goings: Eric Brady Comes Home On Days of Our Lives

Spoilers show Eric Brady finally comes home from Africa. He has a sweet reunion with his wifey Nicole Walker. Yet, Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate Eric can tell something is amiss with his Mrs. The former priest is not wrong.

Nicole hides an embarrassing ONS from her husband. To make matters worse, it was with his sworn enemy Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer). The two men had been friends in the past until Xander went bad.

Nicole struggles with what she did on DOOL. She slept with Xander after a night of sharing cocktails with the hunky bloke. But, now regrets it more than ever. Eric is her husband on a humanitarian mission to Africa. How could she roll in the hay with the one man he utterly despises?

Plus, Eric’s twin Sami saw Nicole and Xander stumble into the Salem Inn that night. And she always hated Nicole. Sami is really the pot calling the kettle black. She is no better than Nicole. Both women cheated. The difference is Sami still cheats. But Nicole is about to confess on the soap opera.

DOOL Predictions: Breakups and Couple Swaps on the Horizon?

What’s next on Days of Our Lives? We predict a big shake-up with these two couples. Their marriages may not withstand the cheating. For many couples, affairs are a deal-breaker. EJ DiMera and Eric Brady won’t appreciate their wives seeking the affections of other men.

But, this leaves the options wide open if divorce for these DOOL couples is inevitable. First of all, Sami does love Lucas. The two have a long history and share two children. Lucas does not give up on the love he has been missing.

He is ready to begin an honest relationship with Sami the moment EJ dumps her for cheating. Sami can find love again with Lucas. But, this leaves EJ a free agent. Second, Eric Brady may not be around for long, especially when he finds out Nicole slept with Xander.

Forgiveness is not his strong suit on Days of Our Lives. When he finds out Nicole slept with the baddie, Eric is likely to demand out of the marriage before he goes back to play hero far from home. Then, Nicole will need to turn to someone for manly comfort.

She most definitely won’t get back with Xander. That was a one-and-done. But, EJ DiMera is an option for Nicole. At one time, the two were married. When their significant others no longer want them, EJ and Nicole could find their way back to each other.

Whatever the case may be, big things are in store with heavy hitters – EJ DiMera and also Eric Brady – and the women who love them. Will we see EJ paired with Nicole and Sami with Lucas on Days of Our Lives in the near future?
