Days of our Lives Comings & Goings: JJ Deveraux Back – Salem Family Reunion
DOOL casting news confirms that JJ Deveraux is back to town soon. The last time JJ was around, he wanted to kill Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) for vengeance for Haley. So, with Kristen back too, JJ Deveraux’s return could bring drama. Will JJ be clean and sober when he comes back?
Also, Days of our Lives comings and goings remind that JJ’s sister Abigail Deveraux (Marci Miller) just returned. With her back in town, that means the whole family’s in Salem. So, it’ll be exciting to see JJ Deveraux with his mom, dad, and sister. But, what storyline can we expect from JJ?
One clue from Days of our Lives writer Ron Carlivati is that he said they needed a filler plot. That’s because sports cancelations threw off stories they’d timed for the holidays. So, perhaps JJ Deveraux is part of one of the small plots they’ve thrown together on DOOL.
DOOL Comings & Goings: Allie Horton Returns as Eric Brady Exits
Another significant return to Days of our Lives is Allie Horton. Teen mom Allie heads back to town and moves in with Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) just as Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) leaves the NBC soap. Of course, this likely also means that Nicole winds up with Allie’s baby.
It’ll be the week after next on Days of our Lives when the judge decides who gets custody of Allie Horton’s baby. So, the Allie might pop up just as the verdict comes in to stop Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) from walking out of court with her son. Clearly, Allie Horton doesn’t want Sami to win.
As of now, Days of our Lives, spoilers say that Allie Horton’s return causes more strife between Nicole and Sami. Watch for Allie to continue bonding with Nicole, which amps up the tension for Sami, who hates her rival. Plus, we also know Allie Horton’s mom, Sami, sticks around on DOOL.
Evan Frears Back – Why Does he Return on Days of our Lives?
One big question from a recent DOOL promo for Fall is the inclusion of Evan Frears, AKA Christian Maddox. Remember, Evan is Jordan Ridgeway’s (Chrishell Stause) baby daddy – and the guy that killed her. So, why is Evan back on the scene in Salem? Could it be about WilSon?
Days of our Lives last had Evan Frears rotting in prison for the murder of Jordan. And his dad, Orpheus, is pretty mad about it. Meanwhile, Evan’s sister, Zoey Burge (Alyshia Ochse), is raising her nephew David. Evan’s return might be another mini-plot used as filler on DOOL, as the writer said.
So, watch and see when Evan Frears might crop up again on Days of our Lives. It seems strange Evan would return – but then again, they like to keep the revolving door of characters spinning on the NBC sudser, so wait and see who else returns in addition to Allie Horton, Evan Frears, and JJ Deveraux.
