‘Days of our Lives’ Comings & Goings: Ciara Back But Rejects Ben Again in Another ‘CIN’ Tease?
Days of our Lives comings and goings bring Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) back soon and Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) still refuses to sign her legal papers. But, if fans expect a hit reunion, they might be disappointed. Is showrunner Ron Carlivati playing bait and switch with CIN fans once again on the NBC soap?
Days of our Lives Casting Update: Victoria Konefal is Back – But is it Just a Drive By?
The smoking hot Summer promo video got fans of Ciara Brady and hunky Ben Weston all worked up. She’s sitting on the bed in a sexy red dress and Ben’s looking as fine as usual. Plus, there are divorce papers crackling in the fireplace. But, all may not be as it appears.
First, Ciara Brady usually wears outfits like that – whether she’s headed to visit family, go to church, or stop to see her lover. And as for the burning divorce papers in the Days of our Lives video, those being in the fire do not mean that Ciara’s given up on her divorcing Ben Weston.

It’s hard to tell the order of things when the soap cuts together a short promo like this. But Ben insists he’ll fight for his marriage to Ciara. Then, he puts his lighter to the divorce papers, and they’re smoldering in the flames, doing a rapid burn to ash. And suddenly, she’s in his room.
But what does that mean? Him burning those papers doesn’t accomplish a lot, really. Ciara’s got a satchel beside her and might have another copy of the legal docs with her to insist that Ben sign them, hint Days of our Lives spoilers.
DOOL Comings & Goings: Ciara Brady is Back – But Memories Still Missing?
It seems likely that we won’t get a Ben Weston/Ciara Brady reunion until her selective amnesia resolves. Right now, she still thinks she’s hitched to the Necktie Killer. And him trying to drug her at University Hospital re-confirmed her worst fears.
Days of our Lives recaps see that as the first hurdle to a CIN reunion. The second issue driven by her memory lapse is that Ciara believes she’s still Theo Carver’s (Cameron Johnson) girlfriend. And Theo happily swept her away to South Africa with him – far away from Ben.
So, while the promo (above) looks promising since Ciara comes back to Salem. Perhaps, she only came back to force Ben to sign those pesky papers so she can move forward with Theo. Maybe she wants to marry her gentle sweetie and cut all ties to the reformed Days of our Lives serial killer.
However, Ben Weston seems determined to win Ciara Brady back – but how? She’s terrified of him and smitten with Theo. It could be that when she pops up on the NBC daytime drama, she’s not there to stay and swoops away again whether or not Ben signs the papers.
Ciara Back to Stay on Days of our Lives – or Victoria Konefal In & Out for Short Arc?
You might recall from DOOL comings and goings reports that VK left the soap to pursue other projects. However, she came back and shot for a couple of weeks for the arc that aired with her trapped in the box, then displaying memory loss, and jetting to another continent.
So, given the actress’s plans, that Ciara Brady’s not sticking around at Days of our Lives. At least not yet. The head writer said that he saw her and her love Ben Weston as end game, but that’s in the long run. And it doesn’t mean it’ll resolve anytime soon.
That means you might want to brace yourself to see Ciara come and go after a brief confrontation with Ben. He says he won’t give up on them, but she’s not open to what he’s got to say. In her eyes, he’s a killer, and that’s the end of the conversation. What else can he say?
And this is bittersweet for fans of the couple since it’s the anniversary of the spark that lit the flame for them.

Days of our Lives will need a scenario to convince her otherwise. Perhaps some danger where Ciara Brady sees Ben Weston heroically save her or someone she loves. Or maybe a conk on the head that restores her memories – since she’s unwilling to have them restored medically.
Wait to see how long Ciara Brady sticks around and if Ben Weston can find a way to get her to see their love is real.
