‘Days of Our Lives’ Comings and Goings: Heartbroken Eric Brady Exits Salem – Greg Vaughan Gone Forever?

Days of Our Lives comings and goings reveal Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) heads back to Africa next week. Plus, Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) may start packing his bags as well. Plus, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) makes his SORAS debut next month. Get ready for a couple of emotional good-byes as well as a warm welcome on the NBC sudser.

Days of Our Lives Comings & Goings: Brokenhearted Eric Brady Leaves For Africa 

DOOL spoilers indicate Eric Brady’s time in Salem is short-lived when he finds out Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) cheated on him in his absence. Already, Eric told Nicole he would stay just a few days then had to go to Africa to tie up loose ends. Then, all goes awry at the anniversary party. Bribed Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) crashes the party and drops a bomb on Days of our Lives.

Thanks to Eric’s devious twin sister Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney), Xander announces that Nicole jumped him and couldn’t get enough. At first, Eric Brady can’t believe it. Then, Nicole confirms it. And Eric assaults Xandy. After that, Sami’s thrilled to see Eric Brady dump his straying wife. She’s never liked her sister-in-law and doesn’t seem to care that she devastated her brother Eric, per Days of our Lives spoilers.

 

Days of our Lives comings and goings inform that Eric rushes out, followed by Nicole. Then, there’s a tearful separation soon where Eric Brady tells her that he won’t be back. Of course, Nicole tells Eric it wasn’t easy with him away in Africa for their first year of marriage. While it doesn’t excuse her cheating, Eric was asking a lot of his new wife on DOOL.

And don’t forget, Eric Brady’s not very understanding or forgiving – even though he’s a former priest. Watch on Days of our Lives as Eric Brady packs his bags and leaves Salem – possibly forever. The love story between Eric ends as he walks out on Nicole. Recall, Greg Vaughan said he wouldn’t come back. Although he did, it looks like it was for just a few episodes.

Jilted Theo Carver Out Soon on DOOL?

Days of our Lives spoilers hint at heartbreak on the horizon for Theo Carver. His upcoming wedding to childhood sweetheart, Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) may be doomed from the get-go. Updates share that Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) gets help to jog his ex-wife’s memory. Theo knows his amnesiac fiancee once shared an epic romance with Ben.

Soon, Theo’s own father, Abe Carver (James Reynolds) warns him not to rush to the altar with forgetful Ciara, per Days of Our Lives spoilers. Daddy Abe doesn’t want to see his son heartbroken. However, Theo is dead set on marrying the girl of his dreams. You can see in the promo below that their wedding day rolls in next week and Theo can’t wait- neither can Ciara.

 

Once Ciara gets the annulment in her pretty little hands, the nuptials can proceed. But, they don’t go the way either Ciara or Theo expect. Ben’s helpers Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) and Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) assist the hottie with his scheme to cure his soulmate’s amnesia on Days of our Lives.

Weddings really never go as planned in Salem. This one is no different. CIN fans are given a real nail-biter as Theo tries to tie the knot with Ciara. But things go off the rails on Thursday and leave fans hanging through August 6 as NBC takes a Days of our Lives hiatus for the Summer Olympics. So, when DOOL returns, Theo may be packing his bags for a honeymoon – or to leave Salem sad and alone. We’ll see.

Johnny DiMera Comes Home in August – Days of Our Lives Casting Updates

For months, the homecoming of Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) has been on the minds of NBC soap viewers. At long last, DOOL spoilers say Carson Boatman debuts next month as the all-grown-up Johnny DiMera. We hear the young man will make his Salem debut on Friday, August 18. Johnny is the offspring of two legacy families – the Bradys and DiMeras.

His mom is Sami and his father is EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel). His twin sister, Allie will be one of the first family members to greet him. And, he arrives just in time to see his mother’s affair with his twin sister’s dad, Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) blow up in her face. So, we expect there will be some differences of opinion between siblings about their mama’s sordid fling.

Plus, Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) catches Johnny’s eye. This adds another layer to the intrigue since Chanel’s been crushing on Allie who rejected her in favor of Tripp Dalton Johnson (Lucas Adams). Expect to see some sibling rivalry in the romance arena this fall on the NBC daytime drama.

Next week on DOOL will be emotional as Eric Brady checks out of Salem after he finds out his wife was unfaithful. But his sister’s reveal of this info is about to cost her too. This could be the last we see of Greg Vaughan in the role. But, you never know. And don’t forget the Summer Games in Tokyo preempt the soap from July 23 – August 6. The soap resumes on August 9.
