DOOL updates suggest Chanel Dupree has a hunch her mother is not being truthful with her once again. Not long ago, Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) lied to her kid, and the whole town of Salem. Remember, it was about her original plans to demolish Horton Square.
Even though the real estate mogul stopped the wrecking ball, there’s still a huge skeleton in her closet. Back then, Chanel Dupree eventually forgave Mama as did everyone else. However, she holds a secret that will forever change lives, per Days of Our Lives spoilers. And she might not let her mother slide this time on DOOL.
When Abe Carver (James Reynolds) proposed to Paulina, young Chanel Dupree couldn’t be happier to get a bonus dad. However, she didn’t quite understand why her mother asked Lani Price (Sal Stowers) to be her maid of honor. Of course, the realtor covered. But she hoped to make up for some of Lani’s childhood disappointments. Plus, she threw Chanel the bone of walking her down the aisle instead, according to Days of OUr Lives recaps.
This week, suspicions resume. She feels her mother still hides something from her. It’s true. Soap Dirt revealed this months ago. Paulina kept hidden that she is really Lani’s bio mom. Chanel Dupree may be wary when she learns Abe’s fiancee plans to postpone the wedding. She knows it’s more than letting the Mayor fully recover from his near-fatal gunshot wound. As a matter of fact, Abe is gung ho to tie the knot, as seen on Days of Our Lives. The Mayor knows how precious life is.
