‘Days of Our Lives’: Chad Overthrows His Brother for Control of Family Biz?
Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate now Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) is fed up with how his brother is running DiMera Enterprises. As co-CEOs, they’re to head the company together. However, EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) seems to run the show on his own. But is there another coup on the horizon?
Days of Our Lives: Chad DiMera Sick of Big Brother’s Antics
DOOL updates show Chad DiMera grows tired of his older brother’s business practices. Further, he complains to his wife Abigail Deveraux (Marci Miller) about EJ’s sketchy ways. Not to mention, Chad may believe EJ had something to do with their sister’s recent jailbreak.
Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal the couple discusses EJ’s position at DiMera Enterprises. Not only that, they are then questioned by Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) about Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) prison escape. It leads the couple to the conclusion to not trust EJ as far as they can throw him on Days of Our Lives.

What will he decide to do? He believes he is the better man to head up the family enterprise on Days of Our Lives. With his brother’s life falling apart on DOOL, this may be an opportune time to slide into the driver’s seat at DE. Abigail may encourage her husband to talk to the board about EJ’s job performance. Of course, they don’t want any scandal.
Is Chad the Right Man for the Job on DOOL?
Days of Our Lives viewers wonder if Chad will take a solo top dog seat at the head of the conference table. He has successfully run the company before. That is until his own scandal prompted his resignation. Since going legit, the board of directors hates any bad press coming their way.
Although EJ hasn’t done anything too alarming yet, he has undermined his brother a time or two on Days of Our Lives. In fact, he bought the bank that owned the mansion in a power play against Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) not long ago on NBC’s DOOL. Of course, while this helped the whole family, it did make Chad upset he wasn’t consulted first, as Soap Dirt reported.

The blue-eyed boss does have the backing of his wife, as Days of Our Lives watchers know. However, does he have the support he needs from the rest of the DiMera family? EJ won’t go down without a fight. But, the board will more likely give Chad the reigns if he has the thumbs up from Tony DiMera (Thaao Peghlis). Will he be the sole CEO before the year is out on DOOL?
Days of Our Lives: Another DiMera Takeover in Store?
Is there another coup at the family corporation in the near future on DOOL? If Chad has anything to do with it, most certainly. He wants to secure the company for his children. But, he is the kind of guy who considers the best interest of the whole family. With EJ’s personal life about to blow up on Days of Our Lives, it may be the right time for Chad DiMera to make a move.
And don’t forget — there are more family members than just them. So maybe Chad can find some allies to help him slide in and schmooze the board into letting him run DiMera Enterprises single-handedly.
