When Jill Duggar Dillard had her first two children, it was a rough go. The Counting On star was studying midwifery and wanted to have her kids at home. Her parents encouraged having children in the safety of their own homes. But it didn’t work out well for Jill.

Jill Duggar Dillard from Counting On had to go to the hospital for a c-section. She was in labor for seventy hours with her first child. And the next labor wasn’t much easier for the young mother.

Counting On celeb Jill Duggar and her husband Derick Dillard both want more children. Despite the risk, they do want to grow their family. They already have two boys, but fans wonder if they want to try to have a baby girl.

Jill Using Birth Control

Fans of Counting On recently asked Jill Duggar if she used birth control. Both Derick Dillard and his wife, Jill, answered that she does use it. But Jill Duggar was quick to add that she uses something that is non-hormonal.

She said she wants everything to still work when it’s time to have another child. Derick said non-hormonal is better because it keeps her mood even. And Jill of Counting On said she doesn’t want to accidentally terminate a pregnancy.

Duggar patriarchs Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar are against using birth control. In fact, Michelle said she feels like one of her miscarriages was a punishment from God because of it. But fans aren’t sure how the rest of the Counting On family feels about it.

Derick Dillard and wife want to be responsible with children and with money. Derick is going to law school, and fans of Counting On asked how they could afford to live. Jill Duggar said that people watching their videos was helpful.

Besides their videos, she said TLC did give them money for Counting On. But it sounds like they had to get a lawyer involved. Derick said that it was less than minimum wage when they finally did get what was theirs.

Whatever the case, fans find it interesting to hear their views on preventing pregnancy. And fans are glad that Jill is making her own decisions. It seems like Derick is very supportive, and they are both happy.
