Brooke Gets Villain Edit on ‘Bold and the Beautiful’ – Daddy Drama Derails Her Rep

The Bold and the Beautiful has Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) irritating a whole faction of fans with her nasty attitude towards her stepson. Looking at certain angles, it seems the B&B writers are writing her as the villain lately. Are you upset at the CBS soap over this?

The Bold and the Beautiful: Brooke Logan Unhinged About Thomas Forrester

One huge aspect of this hyper-negative version of Brooke Logan is her complete hatred of her stepson, Thomas Forrester. She refuses to acknowledge that he’s evolved, improved, and grown as a person. Brooke insists on harping on his past mistakes.

At the same time, Brooke wants Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) to forgive her for kissing two of her exes. But, on The Bold and the Beautiful, she won’t stop trashing his son in front of her husband. He seems to tune it out, but her words are harsh.

Bold and the Beautiful: Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) - Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang)

And remember, she hates Thomas so much she pushed him off a cliff and nearly killed him a couple of years ago. Yet Ridge let that slide. Plus, Thomas Forrester saved Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) when he was accused of running down that drug dealer Vinny.

Thomas consistently showed that he’s responded to therapy and did the work to make himself a better man and father. But all Brooke does is spit venom about him. Brooke seems to think that only she is worthy of forgiveness — not her stepson…

Logan Whistles Another Tune on Deacon Sharpe on B&B

Bold and the Beautiful viewers see Brooke constantly smack-talks her stepson. But she’s got a very different lens on Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan). She ensures that Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) felonious father gets quality daddy-daughter time with their offspring.

And let’s not forget how Hope was conceived. That was Brooke shagging her daughter’s husband. Deacon is a convicted felon with a whole laundry list of crimes in his past. But she never mentions those or throws them in his face.

Brooke even incurs Ridge’s wrath to ensure Deacon stays in her daughter’s life. She’s certainly willing to believe that he’s changed and is a better man. Where is that level of understanding for her stepson — who’s never done time behind bars on Bold and the Beautiful?

Even though Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) trickery is what led Brooke to fall off the wagon, that kiss didn’t come out of nowhere. If she despised him, she’d never have lip-locked Deacon while drunk…

Basically, Deacon drops by when paroled and Brooke, after a minute of hesitation, embraces him as part of the family. Meanwhile, Brooke shows in every episode that she’s incapable of showing an ounce of the same compassion to her husband’s son.

Bold and the Beautiful Writers Set up Brooke to Look Unhinged

Brooke Logan seems to believe that she gets to decide what’s best for Douglas Forrester (Django Ferri). She would be thrilled if Thomas disappeared entirely from his son’s life. She doesn’t even like it when Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) gets time with the kid.

And in the most recent episode, she tried to talk Ridge into shower sex and was making out with him in Taylor’s face. Bold and the Beautiful fans are divided on Team Taylor vs. Team Brooke. And it feels like the B&B writers are inciting animosity among fans.

Bold and the Beautiful: Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) - Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye)

Hope and Thomas are being reasonable to each other. Liam’s suggesting dramatic (and false) theories about Thomas’ intentions — along with his dad — but at least he’s not spitting that nonsense in front of the Forresters.

Next week, Brooke and Taylor insist that Ridge take sides on the Douglas issue. So, will he wuss out like always? Or will he demand that Brooke Logan stop trashing his son at every opportunity? When will the CBS soap writers shift and make the characters more likable?

What do you think? Are you sick of the anti-Thomas trash talk or do you think it’s totally justified? Has Brooke Logan ever been a loving stepmother to Ridge’s other children? Will she ever be?
