‘Bold and the Beautiful’: Steffy Forrester Needs To Cut Finn Some Slack – Fans Say
Bold and the Beautiful sparked a Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) versus John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) fan debate across the nation once the plot about Finn‘s bio parents emerged on the CBS soap. This new wife might get some fan kudos as she finally admits her husband never pushed her away even during her worst times. But instead, he supported her through her problems.
Once more the B&B doctor even took Steffy back after she cheated with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). She finally shares her thoughts on Finn’s loyalty with her father, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). Fans were hoping she remembered this as Finn sits out in the guest house.
Bold and the Beautiful: Steffy Forrester’s Chock Full Of Emotions
B&B viewers suggest Finn did stick by Steffy and never once dropped her even through some tough struggles. No, he went even further than that. He actually took her back and was willing to put her cheating behind them.
Plus he still welcomes the man she cheated on with into their home. Okay, considering Liam is Kelly Spencer’s father (Avalon & Collette Gray), he really had no choice. But John Finnegan doesn’t seem to hold a grudge against the waffler when he shows up on Bold and the Beautiful.
He also was cool about Steffy Forrester visiting Liam while he was in jail charged with murder. Yet, Steffy has him in the guest house today after one mistake that his dad, Jack Finnegan (Ted King) pressured him into.
So, Steffy knows she’s got a keeper in Finn. But then there’s Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) who terrorized her family for years on B&B. She shot Steffy’s mother and grandmother. But it’s not his fault that this is the woman who gave birth to him.
Still, after seeing Sheila Carter with their baby son Hayes Forrester Finnegan (Samantha Worden) in her arms, Steffy Forrester can’t look at her hubby. All she can say is that he allowed this despite her telling him not to let her near the baby.
So Steffy Forrester debates with herself on Bold and the Beautiful about what direction to go in. But after a talk with her father, she admits to herself and Ridge that she never wants to lose Finn. She also said she won’t let anyone or anything come between her and her new husband. Yes, but now it is time to tell her rattled husband.
B&B: John Finnegan Filled With Doubt and Pain
Finn discovered his birth mom on Bold and the Beautiful. Okay, she’s bad, really bad, but this is not his fault. Still, no matter what she’s done in the past he wants an opportunity to get to know her. This is an opportunity he’s been banned from by his wife. Does Steffy even have the right to “tell” Finn what he should do regarding his birth mother on B&B?
Before Finn knew what hit him, Sheila Carter was in the house holding baby Hayes on Bold and the Beautiful last week. She manipulated her way through his father, Jack. Then he turned around and manipulated Finn. So, before John Finnegan could realize it, Sheila was walking through his front door.

Yes, it appears both these B&B biological parents had their own agendas for Sheila’s visit. So, they probably don’t have Finn’s interest in mind over their own. Steffy Forrester may be right when she said this to Finn. It sure looks like Sheila is enthralled about the possibility of getting back into the Forrester family circle. But she needs to do this through John Finnegan.
Right now on Bold and the Beautiful Jack is invested in keeping his secret from his wife, Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda). He doesn’t want her to know about the affair he had with Sheila decades ago that resulted in Finn’s birth.
So, fans see Finn sitting there, a victim of his biological parents’ secret and he gets little support from Steffy. Even Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) put her two cents in. She feels Steffy is treating Finn unfairly.
Bold and the Beautiful: So Who Wins?
The only thing that Steffy Forrester has on her side in this B&B debacle is the baby. Fans cannot blame her for doing all she can to keep her son protected. When John Finnegan came to her rescue months back, an innocent child was not in the mix. It was Steffy Forrester’s sobriety that was in danger.
Then when she cheated, there was no harm or risk to a child, just to her relationship with Finn. So, some fans see Steffy’s behavior towards Finn’s mistake on Bold and the Beautiful as warranted due to baby Hayes.
But many more fans of this show think Steffy Forrester should work it out with the man she loves. As far as not signing the marriage certificate, that floored Finn. This is not the time to let this poor guy navigate all this on his own.
His wife’s behavior will probably just push John Finnegan closer to Sheila on Bold and the Beautiful. His bio-mom may have evil tendencies but she’s saying all the right words to comfort her son. His wife isn’t, she’s turned him away for a mistake that he really didn’t make.
The only thing he could have done differently in that Bold and the Beautiful scene was to demand Sheila Carter leave as soon as she entered the house. So while Steffy Forrester tends to be a fan favorite, viewers shake their finger at her today for her behavior towards John Finnegan on the CBS soap.
