‘Bold and the Beautiful’ Comings & Goings: RJ Forrester Returns for Brooke Health Crisis?

Bold and the Beautiful comings and goings confirm RJ Forrester‘s return but is he coming back for a Brooke Logan storyline that’s been teased for months on the CBS soap? He’ll return not too long after his dad Ridge Forrester is back from his sabbatical.

Bold and the Beautiful Comings & Goings: Recast RJ Forrester Back in April – See Airdate

B&B coming and goings say there’s an all-new RJ Forrester coming to the CBS soap opera. It’s been a while since we’ve seen Ridge Jr, son of Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang). He last appeared in February 2018.

Four years ago, RJ’s parents shipped him off to boarding school and he’s been name-dropped only on the rarest of occasions on Bold and the Beautiful. However, this is not a SORAS (soap opera rapid aging syndrome) recast on the CBS soap opera.

The prior actor in the role was Anthony Turpel, who played the role from the Fall of 2016 to late Winter of 2018. Since leaving the soap, Turpel landed roles on 9-1-1, This is Us, and Quantum Leap.

Now, there’s a new actor in the role — Joshua Hoffman. He and Turpel are both 23 years old, so there shouldn’t be a noticeable age increase on the soap. His first airdate as RJ will be Friday, April 21, 2023. Will he come back as a college graduate on B&B?

Is Brooke Logan’s Son Back for her Health Crisis in B&B Comings and Goings?

Bold and the Beautiful mentioned a while ago that Brooke Logan missed her annual doctor’s appointment. And they didn’t just mention it once. It was several times that it came up and then Brooke shrugged it off because she was mid-split with Ridge.

And it’s not been brought up again. So, perhaps they’re going to follow up and do something with this plot. But if you’re a longtime watcher of the CBS soap, you know by now they bring up plot points and then tend to abandon them.

They just did this when Douglas Forrester (Henry Samiri) moved into his aunt’s cliff house in Malibu. There was this frantic talk about the cliff, and to be careful with the kids. So, some fans panicked and some sites predicted disaster. And it never happened…

So, it could be that the Bold and the Beautiful writers were dropping hints of a future plot line (or not). Maybe Brooke Logan’s health crisis will crop up and that’s what brings back her son, RJ Forrester.

Bold and the Beautiful Casting News: Will RJ’s Return Bring Regret for Brooke, Romance, or Revenge?

The next week ahead on B&B, spoilers say Ridge returns on Wednesday, March 15. Then, a month later, his son RJ is back as well. Perhaps he visited RJ Forrester while he was gone for weeks out of LA.

The big question is why are they bringing him back now and will he stick around? RJ is about the right age to compete for Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) with Zende Forrester (Delon de Metz).

Or, he might be in town for his mom Brooke’s health crisis. Will Brooke soon mention her missing physician appointment and regret not rescheduling it? Is Brooke headed for a diagnosis of a dire illness?

Bold and the Beautiful comings and goings suggest RJ Forrester’s return might be part of a larger plot. And it’s been a minute since Brooke Logan had a story that wasn’t about her fighting Taylor for Ridge. We’ll have to wait and see on the CBS sudser.
