Hope Logan asking about her father, Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan), sent Brooke Logan on a painful trip down memory lane. After her mother gave a tearful explanation of her time with Deacon, Hope shared her opinion.
Hope now believes she’s being kept away from her father because her mother’s got an agenda. It has to do with her mother’s husband Ridge Forrester on the Bold and the Beautiful.
Brooke revealed the shady circumstances of her time with Deacon Sharpe decades ago on Bold and the Beautiful. Back then, he was married to Brooke’s older daughter. Despite him being with Bridget Forrester (then Jennifer Finnigan), Brooke slept with him and conceived Hope.

Hope heard her mother say the pregnancy with Deacon was a mistake. Brooke told her daughter she fell for a charismatic man who seduced her. While she said she was “ashamed”, a flashback video from Bold and the Beautiful suggested something different.
There seemed to be genuine affection between Hope’s parents. The oldest Logan said she feared Deacon coming into their lives again. It could rock her marriage to Ridge. But she might mean in a different way than it sounds.
Ridge may not be jealous of her old flame. But maybe Brooke doesn’t trust herself around Deacon Sharpe. Does she still harbor feelings for him?
