Bold and the Beautiful: RJ Finally Plugged in – But Short Circuits
Bold and the Beautiful introduced the new RJ Forrester a while back, and no matter how they’ve tried to get fans to warm up to him, it’s just not happening on the CBS soap. As the character of RJ, he already came with a mark on him, as he is the golden boy in his parents’ eyes. While Zende Forrester points this out all too often, folks don’t like this cousin’s whiny mode, although it serves a purpose.
Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: RJ Forrester is a Blinker and Odd Dresser
RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) is not a fan favorite for some viewers on B&B. As a soap character, he comes with a silver spoon in his mouth. Next, the soap fast-tracks him into a lucrative career, which affords this young guy all the perks, like a Malibu Beach house. So, that’s one strike against him.
But Bold and the Beautiful fans are finding it hard to buy the romantic scenes. He seems strained when getting up close and personal with Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada). Even the way the soap dresses RJ got the attention of the soap’s viewers. Some suggest his wardrobe comes from a long-forgotten member of a 90s boy band.
In a few scenes, when RJ gets caught up in a serious conversation, he blinks way too many times. For the fans, this seems to show a sign of nervousness on his part. So, maybe it’s scripted this way, but it looked odd enough for folks to mention this.
Still, the biggest gripe about RJ Forrester on Bold and the Beautiful is the silver spoon treatment. It’s the same stuff that has Zende Forrester (Delon de Metz) raging about these days.
B&B Spoilers: RJ Swore Off Family Drama
When RJ first arrived back home, he refused to come into the family business. Mostly because he refused to get caught up in the family drama. But now he’s in a top designer job at Forrester Creations with no experience.
Not only has he been part of the family chaos at times, but he’s now sticking his nose into another family’s problems. It looks like RJ Forrester might see himself as a guardian for Luna when it comes to her aunt’s nasty behavior toward her and her mother. But now Zende tries to interfere with his love life.
So far, all this has done is cause Zende to lose his likability with many Bold and Beautiful viewers. Although it does highlight RJ’s very privileged lifestyle. Especially when his cousin calls him “the anointed one.”
It’s almost as if RJ’s cousin is saying what the fans are thinking. But Zende is bound and determined to knock his cousin down a few notches. At least in the eyes of his girlfriend. So, now he’s got some family drama of his own.

When RJ Forrester first hit the B&B screen, fans waited forever to see where they’d plug him in. For the longest time he had one-liners, maybe two of them on a good day. But viewers had no idea why they dragged this character to the screen.
Now he has a love interest, he’s peeving off his cousin, and he’s living in luxury on Bold and the Beautiful. When he first showed up, he was a self-made man. He was a popular social media influencer, supporting himself through his world travels.

That fell to the wayside today, instead, they turned him into the privileged son. B&B hands RJ things that most people will never achieve in their lifetime. Next, this infatuation with finding Luna Nozawa’s father may spin him into another storyline.
But Bold and the Beautiful viewers need RJ Forrester to tweak his on-screen presence a bit. From what comments reflect on social media today, he’s got to loosen up during those love scenes. It is only fair to say that Joshua Hoffman isn’t bringing on all the problems, it’s what Bold and the Beautiful hands him via a script as well.
It’s as if he’s not sure where to put his hands during those awkward kisses with Luna. Only time will tell if RJ Forrester grows into the part of a true Forrester trooper, both inside and outside a bedroom on the CBS soap.
