‘Bold and the Beautiful’: Ridge Put to the Test – Fails Miserably?
Bold and the Beautiful has Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) still with two women vying to spend the rest of their lives with him on the CBS soap. Despite making his choice on B&B, to live out the rest of his life with Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen), he can’t shake off his thoughts about his wife.
Bold and the Beautiful: Will Ridge Forrester Want What He Can’t Have?
Ridge Forrester never had to worry about losing Brooke Logan (Kathrine Kelly Lang) through this latest saga of his wife vs. Taylor. Both women would come running if he said the right words.
But when he learned Taylor decided to move on and headed to Aspen, he followed. He most likely worried that he had a chance of losing her.
Once there, he cemented his life to Taylor with promises he made to both her and his kids. Despite saying those words to her, this dressmaker still knows that saying those same words once again to Brooke would bring her to his side in a heartbeat.
Bold and the Beautiful has Ridge Forrester drifting back to Brooke frequently in his thoughts even while he’s with Taylor. So, it’s likely he’s not completely done with his wife yet.
But it looks like B&B gears up for her to soon be done with him. Then, the true test begins, is this guy sincere or does he just want what he can’t have?
B&B Spoilers: Ridge’s Wings Clipped
Ridge’s side of the bed isn’t cold yet, and his wife has two suitors clawing at her door to get in. Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) was a bit more subtle than his rival. Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) just came right out and proposed this week on Bold and the Beautiful.
That proposal could have come off as comical. But because Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) spearheaded this attempt at reuniting her parents, it didn’t.
Instead, it got knocked down a few notches to something more serious. It looks like Brooke may get caught up in a family whirlwind similar to what her husband just went through.
While Ridge loves Taylor, he was married and somewhat happy with his choice in the past on Bold and the Beautiful. But Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) stepped in.
Browbeating their father into submission may be too strong of a term. But his kids’ insistence, especially what he experienced coming from Steffy had a lot to do with him jumping ship.
Now it looks like his wife sees what it’s like to go through this, as Hope pushes her mother towards Deacon. But Brooke Logan is one up on Ridge Forrester. He had two women waiting on a shelf. Soon she has three guys all wishing to be her husband.
Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Brooke Has a Steady Stream of Suitors
B&B didn’t script a subtle transition for the Logan matriarch. No, she’s already facing an annulment from her wayward husband. That is a huge slap in the face for her.
A divorce is one thing, at least it acknowledges their lives together. But an annulment suggests they made one big mistake, now better severed and forgotten.
Bold and the Beautiful has Bill and Deacon coming at this scorned wife fast and furious. With Hope in her mother’s ear about her daddy coming home, there’s no telling which way she’ll go. But with the coaxing from her daughter, she may soon change her tune.
Hope thinks her mom is better off without Ridge Forrester. Especially after the way he left her. Not a word of explanation came from Ridge, he just up and said he was building a life with Taylor.
Then, of course, there’s the choir of lovelorn men beating down her door. Instead of candy and flowers, they bring disparaging words about Ridge Forrester and remind her of the awful way he treated her.
B&B Spoilers: Ridge Gets in Line
So, Brooke may buy this and wash Ridge right out of her hair. Then she could start exploring her options. She has two men she once loved who want another chance.
But when Ridge gets wind of this on Bold and the Beautiful, can he step aside and let it happen? Probably not, as Ridge Forrester seems to want what he can’t have.

It looks like B&B may soon have a jealous Ridge wanting his wife back. But she may make him get in line for a while with his rivals. This way the soap lets him get a taste of his own medicine. Taylor might remain oblivious to his change of heart for a while, but she’s smart, she’ll catch on.
So, she may walk away for good leaving Ridge alone. This time it looks like both Ridge Forrester’s love interests could make the choice for him. This way he’s left without either one on the CBS soap.
