Bold and the Beautiful: Luna Secretly Goes after Daddy’s DNA?

Bold and the Beautiful has toyed with Luna Nozawa‘s paternity for a while now, but new clues suggest the CBS soap is getting closer to the reveal. And the list just got shorter.

Bold and the Beautiful: Luna Nozawa Wants a Name – She Gets Finn?

Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) only wants to know the identity of her father, but her mom keeps bucking her around every turn. Now Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park) decides all her daughter needs is a strong male figure in her life, so she hits up Finn to fill those shoes.

John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) seemed only too happy to help when his aunt requested that he talk to Luna. But some Bold and the Beautiful fans think Poppy secretly gives her daughter what she asked for. They think the free-spirited mother gave her daughter her real father to talk to… Finn.

Once in a while, a clue comes through Poppy’s evasiveness. When Finn asks her if she knows who fathered her daughter, she will only give the same answer to him that she gave to Luna.  She tells him she was conceived out of love.

B&B Spoilers: Luna Not the First Mint Mishap?

Some of The Bold and the Beautiful fans think Poppy is gearing up to tell Luna that Finn is her father. Viewers wonder if a similar special mint scenario happened years back when Finn was in college.

We learned from Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) that Finn had just entered college when Poppy came to live with their family. So, this week, Finn reminisced about how close they were back then.

So, it looks like the soap is building a foundation for a storyline that puts John Finnegan as Luna Nozawa’s father.

So, Finn never once questioned the possibility of him fathering Luna. This seems to indicate he has no recollection of sleeping with his aunt. This led some fans to cancel out the good doctor as the mystery dad.

Still, other fans pondered if this could be another case of Poppy’s special mints making a mess of things. So, by showing how these mints affected Luna, B&B offered a possible scenario for John Finnegan. So, if Finn slept with his aunt, then Bold and the Beautiful gave the viewers a potential excuse for Finn not remembering.

What they did to Luna Nozawa after she took the mints could have happened to Finn a few decades ago. But despite Poppy and Finn sharing no DNA, he is still her nephew so, this carries the ick factor for many B&B viewers.

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Bill Spencer Still in the Running?

This week, Luna Nozawa poured her heart out to Bill Spencer (Don Diamont). But across town, her mother attempted to secure a surrogate father for her daughter.

Some fans think Bold and the Beautiful dropped hints that Finn soon finds out he is the father. But others think the clues lead back to Bill, despite Poppy denying he is the one.

It seems B&B spent a good deal of time on Luna and Bill getting to know each other this week. Plus, both clarified that they would be thrilled to learn they are father and daughter.

So, Bold and Beautiful seemed to drop a hint at the possibility of Bill being the answer to the daddy dilemma.

Bill told the FC intern that he asked her mother if he could be her father. But she said no. Still, Luna didn’t seem to put too much stock in her mother’s denial that she gave to the publishing icon.

B&B Spoilers: Feasible Twists in Luna’s Search for Her Father…

Bold and the Beautiful seems to love the idea of switching parents. A few years back, they had Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) raising Hope Logan‘s (Annika Noelle) baby as an adopted daughter.

Hope thought her baby was dead, and Steffy thought her adoptive infant came from a mother who didn’t want her. Plus DNA test switching also happened frequently in the past on Bold and the Beautiful.

So, it’s possible that Luna’s frustration could lead her to a secretive DNA test. That could create a scenario that echoes other DNA switching and wrong parents named from days gone by.

Not Too Far Fetched…

All of this playing around with Finn vs. Bill as her father could lead to a bizarre twist. Here’s one feasible theory for a storyline… It starts with Finn paying a visit to Poppy after meeting with her daughter, as she requested. They might have coffee and discuss the 20-year-old’s mindset.

Then, when Luna Nozawa returns home from work, Poppy tells her that Bill just left, as an excuse for the cups on the table. She wouldn’t want her daughter to know that Finn was there. She’d want to keep it hidden that she recruited him to take the place of her mystery father.

Luna Nozawa’s curiosity might get the best of her by this point. So, she could pick up the cup that she thinks Bill used. But in reality, it was Finn who sipped coffee from that cup. Then she could get the DNA on the cup tested against her DNA.

If it comes back a match, then she thinks Bill is her father. But at this point, The Bold and the Beautiful viewers learn Finn is her father because she had his cup tested, thinking it was Bills. But for Luna Nozawa this would only confirm that Bill Spencer is her dad. Now that would be an intriguing storyline.

Luna Is a DNA Match on Bold and the Beautiful?

Many B&B viewers would love to see the publishing mogul have a daughter. So, the soap could go with Bill Spencer really being her dad. He could get suspicious and do a secret DNA test, which proves Luna is his daughter.

Still, the possibility of Finn’s father being his niece’s dad is not ruled out yet. But anyway, you look at it, this likely boils down to a DNA test when it comes time to reveal the father of Luna Nozawa on the CBS soap.
