Bold and the Beautiful: Eric Erupts When Pushed Aside
Bold and the Beautiful has Eric Forrester feeling insignificant these days as the younger generation mows over him at FC on the CBS soap. His son Ridge Forrester already demonstrated that he has little time for his father after brushing him off last week on B&B. The son offered a lousy response when his dad proudly presented an idea.
Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Eric Forrester’s Office Staff Lounge?
Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) office looks more like a staff lounge these days with everyone and anyone using it for one thing or another. Romance takes place inside those four walls, but it’s rarely the Forrester patriarch doing the romancing.
Bold and the Beautiful uses Eric’s office as a setting where most relationships are debated. But that’s not all. From impromptu luncheons to a stolen kiss between lovers, this all takes place behind the head honcho’s office doors.
Not too long ago, this gentleman even offered to step out of his own office for Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) so she could talk to her patient on the phone.
While Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) also seems to have a corner of that office, there was a time when it was all just her grandfather’s domain within the company.
But that seemed to change over the years. Now Bold and Beautiful scripts it almost as if it’s a community room rather than a private office. So, Eric’s once sacred space now seems to belong to everyone, which could make him feel less important than yesteryear. Especially with other things that go on around him lately.
B&B Spoilers: Eric Misunderstands Ridge Forrester?
Bold and the Beautiful spoilers for this week have Eric involved in a misunderstanding with Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). The father-son duo already had a lukewarm exchange of words last week.
The senior member of the Forrester family is no spring chicken anymore, and it sounds as if he recognizes this. So, he wanted to create a legacy line with the help of his son. But Ridge wouldn’t give his father the time of day in that Bold and the Beautiful episode.
Eric caught on to Ridge’s lack of interest in what he was saying fairly quickly. This happened while he tried to talk to him in the office last week. He told his son not to placate him. Then Ridge stopped what he was doing, if only for a minute or two, and told his father he’s got a lot on his plate.
But Ridge told his dad that they could table his project for another time. Only for the viewers to see disappointment overtake Eric’s face. So, it sounds as if this might carry over to B&B this week.

So, what’s up with Eric’s misunderstanding this week on B&B? While Ridge would never want his father to feel unwanted, Eric may decipher Ridge’s lack of enthusiasm to work on a line together as just that.
Bold and the Beautiful spoilers have Eric demanding respect on Friday’s episode, so it sounds like he’s feeling pushed out by his son.
He was unable to save the Hope for the Future line when Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) was out of FC for a while. Eric worked with Zende Forrester (Delon de Metz) on Bold and the Beautiful trying to save it, but they weren’t as cutting edge as Thomas.

So, when Eric Forrester takes a stand on Friday’s show, it’s likely about him wanting a legacy and Ridge still not taking him too seriously. Fans wonder just how heated this exchange might get between father and son on B&B. Some fans suggest Eric might just decide to demonstrate his power within this business and fire his son.
But that seems unlikely as it goes against the grain of the Eric Forrester fans have watched over the years. But even if he did, it likely wouldn’t last long. The Forrester patriarch would eventually hire his son back if that were the case on the CBS soap.
