‘Bold and the Beautiful’: Deacon Sharpe Poison in Bizarre Storyline
Bold and the Beautiful put Deacon Sharpe in a crazy position on the CBS soap as it leads to a dead end no matter which way it goes. It seems B&B used the parolee as a patsy just to tighten up another storyline going on as the episodes roll out over the next two weeks.
Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Throwing Deacon Sharpe to the Dogs?
B&B poisoned Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) for any storyline that would bring him happiness with any other woman from his circle of acquaintances. Even if Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) were madly in love with him, he couldn’t strike up a romance with her.
The same goes for Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen). A while back he and Taylor struck up a friendship. So, the soap dropped subtle hints that this could possibly move beyond friends.
But that would have been impossible, so there’s no surprise that the storyline abruptly stopped. So, why is Bold and the Beautiful dangling possibilities for Deacon Sharpe that could never happen?
The soap already threw him to the dogs by infecting him with a disease. And that disease remains behind bars today.
B&B Spoilers: Deacon Just a Prop
One of the most bizarre and quick storylines took place this week for Deacon. It imploded before it ever got off the ground.
Taylor coaxed Deacon to profess his love to Brooke and try to sway her his way. So, he made the suggestion to Brooke that they give it a try. But unsurprisingly, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) got in the way.
She still loves him, so it’s not Deacon she wants, but the dressmaker. This means Taylor basically had Deacon make a fool of himself for her own agenda.
She wanted her bestie to become preoccupied with the parolee, so she could make her move on Ridge. Or at least that’s the train of thought following her setting Deacon up the way she did.
So, he served a purpose, he strengthened the wedge already growing between the two women vying for Ridge. But even if Brooke leaped into the arms of Deacon Sharpe and said yes, it wouldn’t work.
Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: He’s Booby Trapped
The reason it couldn’t work with Brooke even if she was willing is because of Ridge, as well as his new cohort, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont). The same would go for Taylor as well if for some reason she fell for Deacon Sharpe.
No one knows about Deacon Sharpe’s love affair with Sheila except for these two guys. So, if one of these two ladies happened to show up on Deacon’s arm one day, for sure Bill and Ridge would stop it.
They’d likely threaten to reveal his secret that Bold and the Beautiful seemed to tuck away. Despite both believing they can’t have the Logan matriarch, they both still love her. It’s that love that would prompt them to end her relationship with the man on parole before it even started.
B&B Spoilers: Slim Pickings for Deacon
The only way that this restaurant owner can find love and keep it is to go outside his B&B circle of acquaintances. Other than that, his love life is dead in the water if he starts to fancy anyone the publishing magnate or the dressmaker happens to know and respect.

Plus, Sheila keeps popping up now and then. So, it looks like Bold and the Beautiful isn’t done with her yet. Her tentacles are long reaching outside those bars. With that said, if the parolee finds himself a new love, she’d be in danger.
So, Deacon is poison to any lady who catches his eye in the future. His fling with Sheila pretty much marked him for life. But this is B&B, and they can pick him up and polish him off at any time. Although, making Deacon Sharpe a safe bet for any lady in the future likely takes a lot of damage control from this CBS soap.
