‘Bold and the Beautiful’: Deacon Outsmarts Ridge – Takes Punches to Win the Girl
Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) appeared to be Ridge Forrester‘s (Thorsten Kaye) punching bag on Bold and the Beautiful. But did Deacon let his rival mop the floor with him to manipulate?
As Ridge pummeled him, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) ran to his defense. That came after she shoved her husband away from Deacon. Now there’s evidence the ex-con made the right move. He gets the girl.
Did Deacon Sharpe Play “Bridge” on Bold and the Beautiful?
Deacon sees Ridge Forrester as a roadblock keeping him from Brooke Logan. But hurting Ridge would only work against him. The ex-con fought the dressmaker. But he didn’t go into full black-belt ninja mode at any point.
The fight looked brutal. And it seemed like Ridge overpowered his rival Deacon. But was the closet-dweller holding back most of the time? Given that he’s fresh out of prison and a skilled martial artist, he should have dominated the designer.
The one thing Ridge had going for him was blind rage. But Deacon also knew that giving the other guy a beat-down would make him look bad to his daughter and her mother. So, instead, he let Ridge Forrester bring the pain on Bold and the Beautiful.
Did you notice when Deacon heard Brooke’s voice, he dropped his fighting stance and just took the punches on B&B? So, when she burst in, she saw one as the attacker and one as the victim.
She shoved her hubby aside and fell to the floor next to her old flame. That did it for Ridge. The moment Brooke defended Deacon Sharpe, her husband was done. CBS Twitter spoilers called it a “fight of epic proportions”.
B&B Spoilers: Deacon Sharpe a Punching Bag
Bold and the Beautiful viewers saw that Deacon prides himself on his martial art skills on B&B. He taught Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) some moves. And Brooke Logan got in on a lesson or two.
But even more than the pride he takes in his offensive skill, there’s something else. That’s using his skills for defense too. Even if Deacon didn’t fight back, he could have blocked punches and evaded harm.
Instead, he put his arms down and took what Ridge Forrester gave. He knew this would prove to Brooke that Ridge was the aggressor. And of course, he was. Above, Deacon Sharpe stands still as Ridge Forrester attacks.
It looked as if that first punch put Deacon down. But he got up and egged Ridge on. So, the FC boss went nuts, striking him. And then he grabbed something to slam into him. And that’s when his wife came in and flipped out.
Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Ridge Loses – Deacon Wins?
Despite it looking as if Ridge came out of that fight the winner, he didn’t. Both are in this for the same thing — Brooke Logan. And it looks like Deacon taking a few punches brought her to his side.
That’s the tipping point when Ridge Forrester can’t excuse what Brooke’s done. So, they’ll split. At least until B&B writers think they’ve stayed apart long enough.
This might appear as a beginning for Deacon Sharpe to get another shot with her. Now he has a straight path to the woman he claims to love. But first,CBS soap opera spoilers have her begging Ridge Forrester to stay.
