Bold and the Beautiful Comings & Goings: Hello to New Zende Forrester – Delon de Metz Debut Date Reveal
B&B welcomes its recast Zende Forrester after a three-year gap for the character. Rome Flynn exited as Zende in September 2017 to pursue other projects. Since then, Flynn starred on ABC’s HTGAWM and The Haves and Have Nots. He’s busy, so CBS recast Zende Forrester.
They chose Delon de Metz, a talented actor whose longest-running role was on CBS thriller Zoo. Before being cast as Zende, he also had roles on NCIS: LA, Scorpion, and some indie films. Now, he’s starring as Zende Forrester and shows up on the CBS soap in less than three weeks.
New Zende debuts October 7 on Bold and the Beautiful. And Zende immediately gets between Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor). So, Zende Forrester relaunches as a character with quite a spark. Watch for Zende in early October on B&B.
B&B Spoilers: Where is Shauna Fulton?
Have you noticed on Bold and the Beautiful that Denise Richards hasn’t shown her lovely face recently? Well, that’s not entirely true. Denise had a scene where Shauna Fulton popped up on BFF Quinn Fuller’s (Rena Sofer) phone for a few minutes. So, Denise Richards literally phoned in a performance.
However, don’t worry about Denise’s fate on Bold and the Beautiful. Shauna’s far from done on the soap. But, Denise Richards was busy on another project for a while. From August 14-September 8, Denise was in Toledo, Spain shooting Glow & Darkness. She plays the Countess of Champagne.
The historical TV series also stars Jane Seymour and is about the life of St. Francis of Assissi. So, it’s quite a departure for Denise Richards from her Bold and the Beautiful role of Shauna Fulton. But, Denise has been back in LA for 10 days now, and some of that time, the soap was on hiatus.
Other Bold and the Beautiful Returns: Maya Avant Back for Fall
In other B&B ins and outs, the soap expects to have Maya Avant (Karla Mosley) back this Fall, but there’s no exact date on the return. With Zende Forrester back and pursuing Zoe, it also begs the question – where is Nicole Avant (Reign Edwards) on Bold and the Beautiful?
Comings and goings also tease with Maya back (and perhaps her sister), maybe we’ll get to see the Avant parents as well. Those would be great returns to see on B&B. For now, the firm date we have for a Bold and the Beautiful comeback is Zende Forrester in early October – so we’ve got just a few more days to wait.
