‘Bold and the Beautiful’ Comings & Goings: Big Sally & Steffy Changes in New Episodes

Bold and the Beautiful gets back to work this week and that requires cast changes – some linked to Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). Bold and the Beautiful Comings & Goings: Who Is Steffy Forrester’s New Man?

While on the break, B&B was busy behind the scenes writing a new role for the show. It’s a guy for Steffy Forrester and not someone already on the show. That means they’ll leave Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) for now rather than put him back with Steffy.

But Bold and the Beautiful clearly needs a love interest for Steffy Forrester- although things are strange as the soap reboots with COVID restrictions. This new man for Steffy promises to be part of an “issue story” – not a textbook romance. There were rumors the show hired Tyler Christopher for the role opposite Steffy.

However, that’s some Bold and the Beautiful fan fiction. The ex-General Hospital and Days of our Lives actor is focused on his recovery from addiction. And he’s nowhere near LA when you check his social media posts. However, it might be a big name talent in scenes with Steffy. So, wait and see.

B&B Comings and Goings: Sally Spectra’s Doctor Takes a Hike?

Once Bold and the Beautiful is back to filming this week, one of the mandates is to minimize characters on-screen. We’ve heard that Darin Brooks is back as Wyatt Spencer. And that Courtney should shoot this week as Sally Spectra. Remember, they were the cliffhanger scenes.

So, this Bold and the Beautiful plot needs Wyatt, Sally and Flo Fulton (Katrin Bowden), whom we’ve heard is also back to work. But, Dr. Penny Escobar (Monica Ruiz) may be out as Sally Spectra’s faker physician. Part of the guidelines to minimize cast means focusing on contract talent.

Thus, Bold and the Beautiful may write this part out for now. Then, if Sally needs to talk to her doctor, they can do one-sided phone calls. That’s a common soap tool to chat with characters off-contract. So, Sally Spectra may be in this scheme alone as B&B resumes new scenes.

Other Bold and the Beautiful Casting News – Thomas & Shauna

While B&B must limit how many players are on set at a time, CBS told showrunner Brad Bell to get more plots going at the same time. So, we may soon see Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) back. We also know Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) is back to LA soon.

The Bold and the Beautiful actress leaked the twist that Shauna’s married to Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). And she said B&B already sent her a stack of scripts. So, Shauna’s back when new episodes film, as is her rival Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) who’s already been back on set.

Plus, Bold and the Beautiful legacy actor John McCook (AKA Eric Forrester) said when they do multi-person scenes, they’ll film two at a time talking to the camera, then the other people, then cut those together. So, the CBS sudser has a plan to get more plots moving while meeting safety standards.
