Billy Abbott’s Scheme Exposed – ‘Young and the Restless’ Spoilers

Young and the Restless Spoilers: Billy Abbott Shares Details of His Plan
Billy Abbott has a plan to punish Adam, The Mustache, and Newman Media. Now, Billy convinces the people of Genoa City that he’s taken the loss of his job to heart. He pretends to be drunk in public and makes a scene if Adam or Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is around on Y&R.
Surprisingly, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) goes along with Billy’s crazy ideas. Soap Dirt readers note she supports his convincing the world that he’s gambling and drinking heavily again. Not only that, but she’s play acting to aid and abet his plot, per Young and the Restless spoilers. And everyone is falling for Billy Abbott’s act.
However, Lily asks that her sweetie explain to his brother Jack. Of course, Jack supported him through several dark episodes. So, Lily doesn’t want Jack to worry about his younger brother. Y&R scoops hint he has a heart-to-heart with Jack and lets him in on the secret.
Billy explains that the sole purpose of all these public displays is to hurt Adam, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), and their company. He is baiting the men to publish an article about his sorry state so he can sue for libel on Young and the Restless. Of course, others witness his bad behavior too. So, it’s a pretty badly written plot…
Jack Abbott Furious with Scheme Against Adam on Y&R
Billy Abbott soon regrets talking to the Jabot CEO. Rather than being supportive, he’s angry that his little brother is still obsessed with the Newmans. He hasn’t learned his lesson and takes no responsibility for his actions. His determination to hurt his enemies led to the current situation in the first place on Young and the Restless.

However, Billy Abbott won’t listen to reason. He’s committed to his plan. And he won’t back down. Jack expresses his deep disappointment to no avail. The elder Abbott ends the conversation on a negative note. The big question is – will the younger Abbott finally win in his war with the Newmans?
Young and the Restless: Plan Successful or Billy Goes Down in Flames?
Currently, Adam and Victor are enjoying the show. And they believe Billy Boy has truly hit rock bottom. Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) provided embarrassing videos of his outlandish behavior on Y&R. They provide strong evidence that he is spiraling out of control.

So, do the Newman father and son take the bait? If they write an expose about Billy’s drinking and gambling, they will play right into his hand. However, this plotting may not have the intended effect. Young and the Restless updates hint if Billy sues, it could appear as a crazy act by a desperate man.
So, Billy Abbott could finally come out on top against the men he hates. His plan could bring him a win. But that doesn’t mean the battle is over. No matter the outcome, it is entertaining to watch as his actions become more outrageous every day on Young and the Restless.
