Big Brother Season One: Original Houseguest Cassandra Walton

Not only was she the first person to ever enter the Big Brother house, but she was also the one that began a big curse. Fans refer to it as the “First to Enter Curse” because the first person to enter has never won on either the US or Canadian versions of the show. The only one to ever overcome the curse is Celebrity Big Brother (CBBUS2) winner Tamar Braxton.

Back on BB1, Cassandra Waldon was the first to be brought back by a twist after an eviction. Her castmates banished her. Then, they were ordered to pick one they banished to return. Ultimately, Cassandra ended up in sixth place out of the ten players and lasted a total of 72 days in the house. After the Big Brother season, she returned to her job as a United Nations staffer.
