‘Big Brother’ 24: Jasmine Does Taylor Dirty in ‘Shrimpgate’ – Live Feeds Update
Big Brother 24 has Jasmine Davis in the boss seat but will her lies about Taylor Hale come back to bite her?
There’s lots seen on the CBS Live Feeds that never make it onto the show and this is a big one that likely won’t make it on air. But it’s a pretty good indicator of the real vibe among the houseguests.
Big Brother ‘Shrimpgate’ – Jasmine Davis Tells Lies about Taylor Hale
Jasmine Davis is the second Head of Household on BB24, but will be the first HoH to achieve an eviction. Big Brother 24 had a dismal week one that was basically all undone by Paloma Aguilar’s untimely exit.
Some fans even thought Daniel Durston should have had a shot to play in the second Big Brother HoH comp since he was cheated by the way things went. He had blood on his hands but no eviction to show for it.
Despite a rolled ankle in the first part of the comp, Jasmine Davis gobbled pie to take the HoH key on Big Brother.

Since then, Jasmine lolled on the sofa and enjoyed all the attention from her “level 3 sprain”.
She’s got a scooter, crutches, and apparently a grudge against Taylor Hale, judging by her recent antics. One example is what we’re calling “shrimpgate” as Jasmine turned a good deed ugly with a lie.
While lying on the Big Brother sofa, Jasmine talked about food, even dropping hints about what she’d like brought to her. To some extent, it fell on deaf ears. Finally, she outright asked someone to cook for her — and it was Taylor.
Taylor Does HoH a Favor – and Gets Trash Talked on BB24
You can see in the video below, Jasmine Davis specifically asks Taylor Hale to cook for her. Scroll to the 15-second mark for the trigger for this live feed drama.
i was really gagged how jasmine effortlessly lied about this damn shrimp and rice so i found it. (Timestamps: 5:35:29 & 10:41:24 ct*) #bb24 pic.twitter.com/5EdLHFCNBX

On the Big Brother Live Feeds, Jasmine says, “Taylor, actually, do you mind cooking for me” and she replies, “not at all”. Here’s how the exchange went from there:
J: “But I want something simple.”
T: “Okay, what do you need?”
J: “I have shrimp in my freezer…”
T: “Do you want it sauteed in butter?”
So, even though Taylor Hale’s on the block, she thinks she’s just a pawn. Meanwhile, the HoH also has Pooch thinking he’s the pawn. She wants both gone, though, so the HoH is indifferent to who gets sent home.

That’s standard Big Brother game play. But Taylor’s being nice to the couch-bound Head of Household. She cooked her some food. If that was the end of it, fine. But it wasn’t. Later, Jasmine lied about how it all happened.
Jasmine Lies to Make Nominee Look Bad on Big Brother
Later, after noshing on the food Taylor made her, Jasmine spilled several lies from her mouth. Talking to other nominee Pooch, she said some not-so-nice stuff about his co-nominee. Scroll to the 51-second mark on the video.
Jasmine said on the feeds for Big Brother, “And then she’s [Taylor] been doing all this extra stuff like cooking me shrimp and rice… I’m like… oh my God… I’m like sure, you want to do it, fine. I don’t play. I know fake when I see fake.”
Of course, most antics in the Big Brother house are game play. But this lie felt unnecessary. With both on the block and both thinking they’re pawns, what purpose did it serve?
Aside from shrimpgate, the weekend live feeds also unfolded some other items of interest. It seems Taylor Hale has a little crush on Elvis impersonator Daniel and wants to kiss him…
If she sticks around another week, maybe it’ll happen. For now, Jasmine Davis seems to be waffling on Pooch vs Taylor, but she doesn’t have a vote anyway.
Michael Bruner has his second Power of Veto medal in hand with no plans to use it. So, it’ll be down to the house. Pooch was feeling comfortable but may be doing some last-minute scrambling.
Will it be him or Taylor Hale that’s evicted under Jasmine Davis’ HoH reign? And will the shrimp scandal make it to one of the on-air CBS episodes of BB24? We’ll see.
