Andy Cohen Rejects Snooki – ‘RHONJ’ Casting Rumors
RHONJ viewers remain curious about Bravo host Andy Cohen‘s rumored feud with Jersey Shore star Nicole Polizzi, aka Snooki. Cohen says he wants to clarify some crucial details concerning this “war” and also casting chatter about her.
During a recent Watch What Happens Live episode, Andy Cohen says he has no issues with Snooki. He says the rumors that he is against her appearing on RHONJ because of an ongoing feud are untrue.
Why Doesn’t Andy Cohen Want Nicole Polizzi on RHONJ?
Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga stated that there is one star that host Andy Cohen would never allow on the Bravo franchise. Whether Melissa was misunderstood, or her information was wrong is unclear.
However, Gorga alleges that Andy gave it a hard pass when Nicole’s name came up as a possible Housewives candidate for the RHONJ series.
Please @snooki join the #RHONJ! It is horribly boring and they need you. #snooki #bravo @Andy can make it happen!

Melissa says she has often gone to Andy, suggesting Nicole join the reality series without any luck. However, Gorga reveals she and Snooki are good friends, and she feels it would be a lot of fun with the Jersey Shore star on the show.
She’s told Andy that “I think she [Nicole Polizzi] is perfect for this.” But Melissa says Cohen won’t budge on it.
Snooki Not Interested in Real Housewives of New Jersey
Snooki herself is clapping back at the rumors. Nicole says she has no interest in joining the Bravo RHONJ franchise, even if Cohen makes an offer.
She agrees with Andy that there are no hard feelings between them. However, she admits that the Housewives cast scares her. “I’m terrified…some of those girls get into it,” she said.
Despite Snooki’s reality TV experience, she says, “I hate drama.” Instead, Nicole says, “I like positivity and just like having a good time and going home”.
Andy Explains Bravo’s Position on Hiring Nicole
Cohen says that though he has nothing against Nicole Polizzi, he does have a reason to feel Snooki is not quite Real Housewives of New Jersey material.
Andy says, “My only thing is that she is so identifiable with Jersey Shore.” He said, “She [Snooki] built MTV reality shows. So, in my mind, I just thought it’s like putting a Kardashian on, like, another show that has nothing to do with it.”
I think snooki would make a great addition to RHONJ!! #RHONJ #snooki

He added that “it’s like two different worlds — nothing personal.” Despite Andy Cohen’s position and her fears. Some RHONJ fans say Nicole is a great fit with the current cast, and they are here for it.
They feel by joining she would bring just the right amount of fun and drama to the series. Would you like to see Snooki join the cast of RHONJ?
