Stephanie Matto recently took a look back at what her life was like a decade ago. The 90 Day Fiance cast member has been through a lot over the past ten years. However, it seems like she has made a few bad decisions along the way that she now regrets. According to Stephanie, fake tanning is one of those mistake. She liked to make her skin look sun-kissed as if she just came back from a beach vacation.
However, that’s not the only bad decision that the 90 Day Fiance reality star made when she was younger. Stephanie Matto got a tattoo of a “hairy little smiling cupcake” near one of her hips. It is her one and only tattoo. But, Stephanie said it is “one of many” things she wished she didn’t do. Yet, unlike her fake tan, this regret is permanent and here to stay.
Stephanie Spills on TLC Mistake
TLC viewers first met Stephanie Matto on season four of 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days. She left America and took a trip to visit her then-foreign lover, Erika Owens, in Australia. Stephanie and Erika were glad to meet each other in person. But, their good times didn’t last long. Stephanie’s jealousy side and insecurities got the best of her. She and Erika were constantly fighting. After a huge fight between the two, they called it quits, and Stephanie went back to America single.
Stephanie Matto and Erika Owens have both said their experience on 90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days wasn’t ideal. After their appearance on TV, they got a lot of hate from viewers. Stephanie became the target of online hate for her behavior on the show. On the other hand, Erika got a lot of mean comments body-shaming her. She even said that she would have taken back her decision to be a part of the cast if given a chance.
Like Stephanie Matto’s fake tan and ink, she also has made some mistakes when it comes to being on the TLC show. She feels that she should have gone more out of her way to warn Erika Owens about “potential backlash and negativity” that she could get. She doesn’t think that either of them was prepared for the hate. Stephanie believes that she should have “done a better job protecting” Erika. She also feels that it wasn’t a good idea for them to be on the show.

After appearing on the TLC show, Stephanie Matto has been keeping herself busy. She moved into her dream house, bought a new expensive car, and is a proud condo owner in New York City. Stephanie is also working on releasing her second book called Empty Blood. In the novel, she shares experiences that she has had in her life. According to Stephanie, the book is a sequel to her first one, Mean Boys and Memories.
The 90 Day Fiance cast member recently revealed that she will be teaching a course on cryptocurrency. Stephanie Matto wants to share with fans how she makes money.
