Things didn’t end on a positive note between the 90 Day Fiance couple, Pedro Jimeno and Chantel Everett, back in America. This led to Pedro Jimeno booking a solo trip back home to be with family and friends. Things escalated further when Pedro’s sister tried to set him up with one of her friends. A drunken night of partying led to him dancing provocatively with his sister’s friend. Even a drunk Pedro Jimeno knew this would cause problems in his marriage.
Chantel Everett went to the foreign country to see her husband even before she knew about his drunken shenanigans. To make matters worse, Pedro’s sister proudly showed Chantel the video footage. It’s no secret that both families don’t like each other. Both sets of kin would be much happier if their loved ones decided to be with other people. But, once the 90 Day Fiance pair got some alone time away from the family drama, they reconnected and things seemed to be in a good place once again.

It looks like they’re making the trek to the Dominican Republic to save Chantel Everett from the mess they believe she’s in. Obed told the Georgia woman that Pedro’s family set up their relationship because they wanted him to be with an American woman. Further, Obed alleges that they wanted him to come to America so he could send money back to help them start a business.
Chantel Everett’s family have always been at odds with Pedro Jimeno on 90 Day Fiance. And, it seems they believe that version of the story. Also, Chantel’s mother admits she has no problem dishing out tough love if it means things work out for the better in the end. That endgame seems to be Pedro out of the picture. Moreover, it looks like they even believe he has another family back in his home country.
Happily Ever After: What Happens Next?
It seems all the pieces are in place leading up to the premiere of The Family Chantel. But, it’s not entirely clear how this season of Happily Ever After will end for Pedro Jimeno and American wife Chantel Everett. Further, with The Family Chantel premiering on July 22, it certainly looks like the events from HEA will carry over into the brand new spinoff.
