90 Day Fiance watchers know Alex Frend as the young boy of Steven Frend and Olga Koshimbetova. Watchers saw Olga give birth to him in Russia on the sixth season of the TLC franchise. He grew up a lot since then. And Olga captured something from him recently that she didn’t expect.
Turns out 90 Day Fiance‘s Alex Frend did something unexpected. Olga Koshimbetova shared a short clip of her son playing with toys. He decided to give one of his toys a swift kick. Meanwhile, when capturing the moment, it’s something that certainly seemed to shock his mother.

When Alex Frend isn’t kicking his toys, he has a lot of fun with his 90 Day Fiance mother, Olga Koshimbetova. The photographer from Russia shared pics of her son playing in a huge pile of leaves. Olga balances a lot between being a mother and focusing on her career. Even so, she seems to pull it off well – and a lot of watchers say what a good mother she is.
On top of doing activities with Alex Frend, 90 Day Fiance‘s Olga makes sure he has a healthy diet to fuel him and keep his energy up. She makes things like smoothies for her son – so he has a lot of healthy food in his diet.
Recently, a 90 Day Fiance watcher asked Olga Koshimbetova how she gets him to eat things like vegetables. According to Olga, children are your “mirror”. And they’ll do and eat whatever those around them do.
TLC Parents Good Role Models for Their Son
Even though Steven Frend and Olga Koshimbetova may not always see eye to eye, one of the things they agree on is doing what’s best for Alex. He spends time with both 90 Day Fiance parents. And recently, Steven took him to an indoor play area – complete with a foam block pit.
Unfortunately for Steven Frend, Alex didn’t like his father being on his phone while out. So the young boy took things into his own hands. He threw Steven’s phone into the pit. And Steven said he had to sort through every foam block to find it.
Another topic of conversation regarding this 90 Day Fiance couple is whether or not they’re still together. Steven Frend seemingly confirmed a split back in October when he said they agreed to co-parent Alex. Meanwhile, Olga responded to a TLC follower a few days ago asking about her status with Steven. And she said, “we are together”.
Still, even with the grey area surrounding the 90 Day Fiance couple’s relationship status, they both do what’s best for their boy. And whether he is kicking his toys or drinking smoothies, he seems to do well.
