90 Day Fiance: Kobe Blaise Meets Emily Bieberly in China
Kobe Blaise met Emily Bieberly during a night out in China. The 90 Day Fiance newcomer was working as an underwear model in the country. Emily was there teaching English.
The moment she saw him, she knew she had to approach him. After finding out she was from America, he thought she was “easy.” They were only supposed to be a one-night stand. But, their wild night together resulted in a pregnancy.

Kobe tried to get a visitor visa to go to the states and see his son, Koban, be born. But, it was denied. So, he had to stay in Cameroon. And then, dealing with the global pandemic made it hard for him to get the chance to meet his baby boy in person.
Emily Bieberly filed for a fiancé visa so Kobe Blaise could move to her small town in Kansas. However, the virus outbreak delayed him from coming to the country. So, the 90 Day Fiance couple was apart for two years. But, they are no longer in a long-distance relationship.
Kobe Tells Emily She Put On Weight
Emily Bieberly reunites with Kobe Blaise at the airport in the upcoming episode. After spending two years apart, he notices that she put on a few pounds. He says that she changed and gained weight. However, he feels that it’s “not about how she looks.” Yet, his comment shocked her.
Emily had told Kobe that she was no longer the thin person he had met in China. So, he knew that she didn’t look the same.
The 90 Day Fiance castmate also understands that the weight gain was from having a baby. He feels that weight can be worked on. You can always lose weight if you want to.
According to Kobe, if you love someone, it’s not always about their size. He believes that there are more important things to focus on. So, he thinks that someone’s weight should be at the bottom of that list. He loves Emily the way she is.
90 Day Fiance Celeb Explains Cultural Differences
Kobe Blaise also feels that his comment is due to “cultural differences.” He explains that if someone tells you you’ve gained weight in Africa, it’s a compliment. It shows that you are living a healthy life.
Emily Bieberly doesn’t feel that Kobe was wrong for commenting on her weight. The 90 Day Fiance star knows she packed on a few pounds.
She was a size six when they met. However, after having their son, Koban, she didn’t drop the weight fast. She understands that not every woman loses the baby weight immediately.
Kobe feels that men need to understand the sacrifices that women make to have a child. He believes that it is up to the man to ensure that their lady feels confident in herself. And he tries to be that person for Emily.
