Julia Trubkina made her reality television debut on Season 8 of 90 Day Fiance. She left her life in Russia behind for a new beginning with her American lover, Brandon Gibbs.

She thought she was going to be living the American dream. But, the TLC celeb quickly realized she would be spending most of her time looking after farm animals.

Julia was used to staying out late and sleeping in. But, taking care of farm animals meant she had to get up early to feed them. Being a farm girl was not her idea of the American dream.

So, she convinced her husband to move off the family land and into their own apartment. He was hesitant at first. But, the two eventually made the move.

Brandon Gibbs’ parents, Betty and Ron Gibbs, weren’t happy with their decision. They didn’t think their son could afford to live with Julia Trubkina because of the expense.

They were also hoping that the 90 Day Fiance couple would stick around to help with the farm. Betty and Ron had even offered to help fund a home near the family farm.
