Two Arrests for TLC Star – What Did He Do to Land in Jail?
We found two pieces of criminal background info on 90 Day Fiance star Jovi Dufren — spaced just a few months apart. Both involved alcohol, and both occurred while Jovi was under the legal drinking age. In December 2008, when he was just 19, the New Orleans sheriffs picked up Jovi.
It was just two days after Christmas, more than a decade ago, when the 90 Day Fiance husband got into a legal scrape. The court charged him with underage driving under the influence (DUI). And the NOLA court also alleged Jovi Dufren was reckless driving, ran a light, and wasn’t seatbelted.
A few months later, in April 2009, Jovi Dufren of 90 Day Fiance was again arrested. This time, it was for possession of alcohol under the age of 21. The record shows Jovi missed court, and they issued a warrant, later recalled. He pleaded Nolo and was sentence to education for the offense in Florida.
Has Jovi Cleaned up His Act Before 90 Day Fiance?
This season on the TLC reality show, you’ll see Jovi Dufren’s fiancee and his family wonder if he’s put his troubling ways behind him. While he might not be 100% ready to settle down, they definitely got married. Jovi wed Yara on a Valentine’s 2020 trip to Las Vegas.
