Erika Owens Says Stephanie Matto Bashed Her in Interview
Erika Owens had a rocky relationship with Stephanie Matto on Before the 90 Days. Their time in Australia was fraught with bickering and misunderstanding.
And, by the end of the season, they called it quits. Stephanie left Erika and went back to America and haven’t spoken to each other since. Their 90 Day Fiance Tell-All was awkward as well.

But Stephanie recently spoke to a radio station in Erika’s home country of Australia. Their relationship was brought up during the interview.
One of the radio hosts, Jackie O., told Stephanie not to judge all Australian girls based on her ex. Erika Owens got upset that Stephanie Matto talked about their relationship.
She couldn’t believe that her 90 Day Fiance ex-girlfriend was still “slagging” her. And she’s upset it was on international platforms more than two years after their split.
Then, Erika said that she could reveal a lot about her experience. But she hasn’t said anything about Stephanie out of respect. She wouldn’t want anyone to have to deal with “internet trolls.”
Erika felt that there was no reason for Stephanie to be discussing their “very short-lived, toxic relationship” on the radio. She said that they were not a good fit for each other.
90 Day Fiance Alum Erika Claps Back at Australian Radio Hosts
Erika Owens wasn’t just mad at Stephanie Matto. She was also angry at what the host, Kyle Sandilands, said about her friends. He called her friends the “dregs of society” and “meth heaven types.”
Kyle also had harsh words for the type of environment the 90 Day Fiance alum’s friends lived in. He said that it looked like her friends lived in sheds in the outback.
The Before the 90 Days castmate hoped that Kyle Sandilands felt “great” about attacking people he doesn’t know. Erika felt that his behavior was “absolutely disgusting.”
She thought that his comments were “so elitist and classist.” She also said that “rich people are gross.” Stephanie Matto didn’t stick up for Erika Owens. Instead, she laughed along at their comments.
She told the radio hosts that she felt like she couldn’t do anything right when it came to Erika’s friends. And, by the end of the 90 Day Fiance trip, she knew it wasn’t going to work out between them.
Stephanie’s Ex Speaks Out about Interview
Erika Owens said Stephanie Matto’s “cackle” made her stomach turn. However, the 90 Day Fiance star knows that Stephanie didn’t say much. But she felt that her ex-girlfriend allowed the conversation to happen.
Stephanie didn’t stay quiet about the situation. She says she answered a question “politely” about Erika. And that does not count as talking bad about someone.
She felt that she said nothing hateful in her interview. The TLC cast member said she only replied to a question. But now she has been receiving hateful messages from cyberbullies.
