On 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, Ellie Rose talked about her life growing up. She says she was voted “most likely to never come back” in her high school yearbook. After moving to Seattle, Washington in 1995, she got married at the age of 28.
She says she and her first husband worked on the same street. But, they worked at different bars. Ellie describes him as a “happy and fun-loving guy.” Plus, she remembers how when they would walk into different places, her first husband would talk about how much he loves her. In addition, she states “he loved” her so much.

However, there’s tragic news about Ellie Rose’s first husband. She shares on 90 Day Fiance how eleven months into their marriage, she went to bed early one night. When she woke up the next morning, she discovered her husband dead. As she talks about this, she fights back tears. She says this discovery changed her life, forever and she hasn’t been able to get over it.
This is when Ellie Rose learns her husband died of an accidental overdose on a prescription pain killer. The 90 Day Fiance celeb says she doesn’t feel like she’s ever been the same since the loss of her husband. Now, she finds it difficult to open up her “heart” to someone. Then, she states she’s afraid of going through that process with another person.
