The phone call consisted of Liz crying while he yelled at her using the f-word multiple times and while calling her stupid. This fight occurred because A co-worker asked Liz for a ride home, and she asked Ed, and he said that was fine.
Suddenly it was not fine, and Liz got the worst of it.
