’90 Day Fiance’: Ariela and Biniyam Are Coming to America – Recap [S09E04]
On 90 Day Fiance, Ariela Weinberg and Biniyam Shibre head out to start a new life in America. But not everyone is happy about it. In spite of a fun first night, Guillermo Rojer and Kara Bass clash over his desire for his own laptop.
Bilal Hazziez introduces Shaeeda Sween to family. But still isn’t being completely honest. Patrick Mendes prepares for his Brazilian love Thais Ramone to arrive. And Jibri Bell and Miona Bell have a frozen pasta fail. Let’s take a closer look in this recap at Season 9, Episode 4 — Pasta La Vista.
90 Day Fiance: Ariela Weinberg Still Stewing over Wine to the Face
Ariela Weinberg paid the price for Biniyam Shibre’s wishy-washy last-minute confession that he’s leaving Ethiopia for the United States. His sister Wish tossed a glass of red wine at her face.
But Ariela described it as acidic, with a slight lingering burn that left a bitter after taste. Biniyam later tells them they were wrong. But Wish tells production she sees no need to apologize after Ariela Weinberg bails on a farewell lunch.
The returning 90 Day Fiance family heads to the airport. Ariela Weinberg is sad to leave her nanny Mimi, and the feeling is mutual. Turns out Mimi has her back. When the sisters want to kiss a sleeping Avi goodbye, she agrees with Ari that it’s too cold and they behave stupid.
The sisters Biniyam cry and trash Ari again suggesting that Biniyam Shibre is trapped and unhappy. Luckily no alcoholic beverages are thrown and everybody parts ways for now anyway.

90 Day Fiance: Guillermo Rojer Wants His Own Computer
Kara Bass and Guillermo Rojer drive home from the airport and Guillermo takes in all the scenery. He’s impressed that the houses are so big compared to what he is used to. And admits he is intrigued by a good southern accent and does a pretty good imitation of one.
Kara likes his enthusiasm and can’t wait to get home so they can start their new life together. The pair enjoy a passionate first night and Guillermo is a fan of showers with hot water.
As modest as he was in the beginning, Guillermo wants some shiny new things too. Mainly a computer. Kara suggests they share one but he isn’t budging. Unlike 90 Day Fiance franchise alum Kimberly Menzies, Kara isn’t a sugar mama when it comes to electronics.
The pair fight over the expense as Kara Bass reminds him they are on a budget. Guillermo Rojer feels disrespected and talked down to. He suggests she stop treating him like she’s his mother.

Bilal Hazziez Wants Shaeeda Sween to Be Grateful
Bilal Hazziez wears more than just his heart on his sleeve. After playing a prank by pretending to be poor to his 90 Day Fiance Shaeeda Sween, he wears a T-shirt that says “B Grateful”.
Shaeeda is grateful for the beautiful home she’s living in. But still annoyed about his lack of trust in her intentions. But there’s no time to hold a grudge since his family is on the way over to eat.
His mom, sister and brother arrive. Shaeeda Sween gets a warm welcome from the family. But when they sit down to eat, she gets grilled about why she’s 37 and never been married and had kids.
Way to cut to the chase family Bilal Hazziez. She suggests she’d like to have kids and Bilal looks a little uncomfortable. Of course, he already has two kids. But says he likes kids ok. Maybe his next t-shirt will read “2 And Done”.

90 Day Fiance: Patrick Mendes Shares His Location
Patrick Mendes enjoys lifting weights and cooking up chicken and rice. He once trained for the Olympics in weightlifting but was disqualified twice over testing positive for banned substances. Patrick married a fellow weightlifter, but it didn’t work out.
What did work out was a trip to Brazil to visit his father who retired there. While there he met Thais Ramone on a dating app. He was worried she wouldn’t be real but she was exactly who she said she was.
On 90 Day Fiance, she is headed to the United States to move in with Patrick. He lives with his brother John who is a free-spirited bachelor. Thais doesn’t really like the idea of them living with John. And is already making rules such as no parties, yelling or fun period.
Patrick Mendes thinks she is the hottest girl he’s ever seen in his life. But it turns out even hotties are insecure. Thais Ramine makes him share his location and forbids him to work with female co-workers. Even random bar patrons think it’s a lot.

Jibri Bell Needs to up His Alfredo Ante
Jibri Bell and Miona Bell wake up in his parent’s house on 90 Day Fiance. Miona wants Jibri to fix her some breakfast. He suggests she unpack all of her things. But Miona would prefer to live out of her suitcase.
She’s hoping their time here in South Dakota with his folks will be brief. And they can head for the sunny skies of LA where the faces look waxy instead of the apples. Part of the deal of staying with the rents included them cooking dinner a few nights a week.
The pair head to the supermarket and Miona Bell takes it all in. She in awe of ready-made food and frozen corn dogs. They settle on some frozen chicken alfredo.
And probably should’ve gone with the corn dogs. His mom says the chicken is rubbery and the meal just isn’t good. But it is “edible”. Ouch. Jibri pouts as his mom criticizes. His dad tries to save face. But Jibri Bell and Miona feel pretty bad about their pasta fail.

90 Day Fiance: Kobe Blaise Finally meets His Son
It’s the morning after Kimberly Bieberly successfully held Kobe Blaise to a night of adult fun before meeting their son and moving in with her family.
The pair haven’t lost the chemistry they enjoyed two years ago on that shower floor in China. In spite of long distance and weight gain. Emily happily gives up all the details and Kobe just keeps saying “oh my God”. But with that out of the way it’s time for him to finally meet his son.
Emily makes high pitched squeals all the way to the house. The family has graciously hung a welcome banner along with photos of adorable baby Koban. When Kobe Blaise finally lays eyes on his son he sobs.
The baby is a little shy and has other plans such as breastfeeding in the midst of the excitement. Emily Bieberly obliges and shoos poor Kobe away when he tries to touch the baby’s feet. So now reality sets in for these 90 Day Fiance parents. Till next time!
